“Fantastic western food as an alternative to the Vietnamese choices in Hoi An”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012 via mobile

We visited Dingo Deli on the way back from Cua Dai Beach having seen good reviews on Trip Advisor. It was a fantastic cafe for western food which was a great alternative to eating rice and noodles everyday! The menu has a great selection and you choose by ticking what you want - that way no mistakes are made in translation which was a nice touch. We chose lemon juice to drink which was lovely and refreshing, a club sandwich and a DIY sandwich - you can select your bread and filling which was great. The food was delicious! The cafe also has air con and Mac computers for free access to computers. The toilets were very clean too! All in all a great place for lunch - just a shame it's a little further out of town.

“Very good western food in Hoi An”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

We loved our sandwiches there. Real good Western food and the best coffee in town. I am not sure if the lady we met was the owner but she was very nice and friendly. One of our dishes was brought out way after everyone else's but she did not even charge us for that. We are going back and highly recommend it.

“A perfect place to dine with kids”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2012

We had dinner at Dingo Deli one december evening. Our table was in the backyard by a very cool jungle gym playground with swings, trampoline, basketball, even a punching bag. So we relaxed and sat back in our chairs while our kids ran around happy. A very rare moment in our trip!

I had tacos with beans and jalopenos. They looked great but were almost with no taste at all. We also had a deli platter and burritos but the taste was bland. Beer was cool but not cold.

Service was very friendly and polite.

So not a very culinaristic experience but because of the setup, I'd be happy to try their cakes and coffee next time.

Thank you for your review of your experience dinning in our Adventure playground... Yes it has become popular for families and being lit up in the evenings allows you to stay longer and relax while the kids play..

I am so sorry about your burritos and tacos - I have never had a problem with them being bland before and this is not acceptable.. Your experience is very important to us and we do have a reputation for full flavorsome foods. We will revisit our ingredients for the vegetarian burritos and tacos it today and have the recipe back to being full of flavor...

Please if you are still in town, please come back, ask for me and let me buy you some cakes and pastries from our in house bakery to enjoy..... Sincerely Michele

“Home away from Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

I was working in Hoi An for almost one year and Dingo Deli has become my Home away from Home! The friendliness, helpfulness and care of each staff is simply fantastic. Michelle and Gordon, the owners, are always welcoming, smiling and available for a good chat. The extensive food selection, the quality of the food and the coffee treats are out of this world. The place is always spotless, tidy and very well air conditioned which is a real winner in a city which otherwise lacks places offering air condition. Dingo Deli is a must visit if you are staying in Hoi An!
