We stumbled across this place which is located along the river in the old town.
It has a pretty standard Hoi An menu, we had fried wontons, spring rolls, smoked eggplant in clay pot and a beef pho and all were really simple and delicious.
Service was a little on the slow side compared to some of the other larger restaurants but this was due to less front of house staff than the restaurants you see listed in Lonely Planet etc.
Recommend this place if you are after a relaxed meal on a budget. Approx A$15 for entrees, mains, drinks and tip for 2 people.
