“Great food and super friendly staff!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

We ordered morning glory, spring rolls, and a steamed fish. Everything was super tasty, and it came with free rice and dessert. The woman who owns the restaurant is very friendly, as are all the other staff. Just chatting to them made the meal even better! Her policy is don't like = don't pay, although I don't think anyone will have that problem because the food is great. Order the spring rolls- probably one of the best I've ever had!

“Great food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2014

We were staying at the River Beach Hotel which is a few doors up, turn left out of the front of the hotel and this great little family run restaurant is a few mins walk. It's run by a friendly, warm and entertaining Vietnamese lady called Phi (Fee). Her English is brilliant and you can ask her heaps of questions about how much things cost and she'll be honest with you and can tell you the cheaper places to try.

Food was super, we ate here a few times. Even in low season it was busy and the only restaurant that had a good flow of customers. Prices were extremely reasonable, an expensive meal with starters, mains and alcohol cost us £15 (for two people), we ate and drank well that night! I tried the steamed snapper with ginger and it was the best fish I've had for a number of years and at 120,000 VND bargain!

Don't bother with the other restaurants on that street, we did and it was inedible so we went back to Phi's after so we could actually eat something!

We had Cao Lau for lunch here and it was the best we had in Hoi An.

You can get washing done here too for about 30,000 VND per kilo.

To compare prices, a local beer was about 20,000 VND and main meals floated 80-120,000 VND. Cao Lao 40,000 VND.

If you want a great little family run restaurant experience with fantastic food and great service/company...visit Phi's!

“Simply great food and service”

Family-owned restaurant which serves expectionally good vietnamise food (almost too cheap) with a warm service and free dessert. It's like visiting in a good friend's home, highly recommend!
