This is amongst the cheapest hotel u can find, but u will need a motorbike /bicycle to get around :)
however because Hoi An is such a beautiful place, you will forget the rotting room that u will go back to late at night ater a great time at the city....

Forgive and forget

This hotel was the cheapest that we found after walking into around four in the town.
We have a big room with two double beds for $12. It has a basic TV, air con, fridge and fan, and has two windows so it's nice and light (room 307).
It looks far from the water and Japanese bridge, but the tow is only small and you can walk there in 10 mins, or hire a push bike for $1 right a cross the street and ride around the town, we did it everyday. The town is so nice with the ancient buildings!
We also got a good price from the hotel for our onward bus to Hue ($4).
I would stay here again.
Oh yeah, the hotel has a pool, it's inside buy the stairs, didn't look that clean but saw a couple of people in their and they seemed happy enough.
Also visit Cafe 43 around the corner, nice food, and dirt cheap beer!

Room Tip: 307 was nice, pretty quiet and big.

I was a walk-in guest and stayed for 1 night. I have to say that the only good thing about the hotel is its staffs. They're quite helpful but not really professional.
However, the service is poor. Food are not really good. My room is quite small but that doesn't really matter. The thing that matters most is the AC was not working. I even had to sleep at my friend's room which was at the same hotel. I will not come back. The price is quite reasonable, but i'd rather spend more money to stay in a better hotel.
Also, it's quite far from the very center.

This is my first review on a hotel, but I feel an intense need to do it! We paid 14 dollars for a tiny room that smelled like it didn`t see a cleaner for a looong time (I really can`t see, where these fancy pictures above come from!). Furthermore we had loads of pubic hair on the reading lamp and in the messy fridge!!!
So much for the rooms, but the staff really beats it all. They were lying (told us wrong bus arrival so we would have to spend another night in case we missed it) and making up their own exchange rates. In the end we didn`t even trust them to leave our luggage in their storage after check out.
We were not alone with our troubles: On the morning of our check out we heard 3 different guests complaining about there rooms. one of them had six cockroaches in his room!
Altogether they seem to benefit from an excellent yet totally inexplicable lonely planet review which immediately has to be rewritten!

We stayed in this hotel for one night having met with a lady who appeared to be the owner at the bus station. We were tired after a long journey and decided to stay. After spending just 10 minutes in the room we came to the conclusion that we could not spend more than one night here. For a start the air con wasn't working despite the fact that we had insisted on a room with AC. Once we realised this my friend went to reception to make them aware of this and we were told that someone would come up to the room to have a look at it. Long story short, nobody came! We told the staff however, that we would not be paying for an AC room as we did not have working AC. The room smelt very musty and the bed sheets were not clean. Everytime we passed through reception the receptionist attempted to sell us a tour or send us to a tailors and when we said that we weren't interested she was quite rude and clearly not pleased despite the fact that we were polite on all occasions. When we informed reception that we would check out the next morning the disgruntled receptionist questioned us as to why we were leaving and where we were going to be staying! Upon check out they tried to charge us for an AC room despite the fact that they had agreed to charge us less and the staff were quite rude. We didn't get a thank you or goodbye on our departure. Avoid!! There are much better hotels nearby with nice staff and nice rooms.

The room looked ok on first inspection but once we're in and passports have been handed over we found the problems, air con smelt really badly of damp once started, shower was awful and the tub had rust at the bottom (missed that one), bed sheets were stained and grubby under the blanket.

Worst was the fact the lady sold us our bus ticket to hue, we got it with the hotel against our better judgement after they insisted it was a good airon con bus with TM brothers. When the rust bucket appeared with all the windows open and really dirty seats, all she could do was TM Brothers but they share buses with this company (the dreaded Camel tours).

Save yourself the bother, when the bus drops you here just keep walking! You're only 10 mins away from a loads more options closer to the old town.

P.s give the early morning My Son trip a miss, rushed and uninformative, cramped on a crappy bus with fold down seats and no AC.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else.

So we viewed the rooms online and they certainly did not match up with what we got. It is definitely not worth the fifteen quid we wated on this place. For fifteen dollars we got a less than average room, no Aircon with no explanation because the receptionists had gone home and we were left with a sign and a guy who just shooshed me away because he didn't speak English! The pool looked dirty and the receptionists, when they were there, just wanted to sell us overpriced tickets!
