My finace and I saw Heaven and Earth advertised in our accommodation and called them to book the "Half day bicycle tour" to the beach. We cannot express how fantastic, professional, exciting, and cultural this day was for us. Our tour guides were Pascal and Hoan (Apologies if I didn't get your name right). It was just the two of us on the tour, which was fanastic! As we had limited time in Hoi An, we could only do the half day. The ferry ride over was amazing, and Pascal explained what various things were (the fish nets, how they worked, and the wee huts based around them) along the way. Our bike ride was not hard, it was all quite flat and regular rest breaks were taken as it qas quite hot. We rode through various villages which were very untouched by tourists. We saw the "real Vietnam" that wasn't buzzing with tourists. Along the way we rode past some very busy rice farmers up to their knees deep in mud. My finace commented that he feels like helping. So we stopped and did exactly that - we helped! We gained a great appreciation for how hard they worked, and the time and effort that goes into doing this amazing job. We rode through villages and the people were so friendly. We saw the local people making fish sauce, mats, and bamboo boats. The beach was amazing and the water was SO warm! It was a very easy going tour in the way that we didn't "have to be somewhere" at a certain time. Any questions we had were answered so well and Hoan was Vietnamese, which also allowed for a locals perspective, which we also thought was awesome. We plan to go back to Hoi An and will defintely go on another bicycle tour. Our whole time in Vietnam was amazing, and we took a number of fantastic tours, but this one takes the cake and come highly reccommended. The price was also very good, bikes worked well, the guides were so informative, accommodatiing and welcoming - and the surroundings were amazing. THANK YOU!
