We ate at all of the top restaurants on Tripadivsor and this place was far and away the best. They just take their food a bit further and add a little twist that makes the food amazing. If you only have time for one restaurant this is where you want to go!
The restaurant is housed in an old colonial building in the heart of Hoi An's Ancient Town. It has large dining areas on both floors, and a trio of tables on the balcony upstairs. The balcony boast a very nice view of the ancient city. The menu is a selection of Vietnamese street food. This restaurant is an absolute must-visit.
There are a number of great quality Restaurants in Hoi An and The Morning Glory is on the top of that list. Excellent Menu, excellent food along with excellent service and excellent value. When ever in Hoi An The Morning Glory is one of the must eat at places.
Seriously, the best meal we had in Vietnam. I love Vietnamese food and to be honest it was the deciding factor in choosing Vietnam over other destinations. And although it is not a true authentic dish, pork belly sure is and the way it was made was out of this work good. Chunks of five spice seasoned pork belly cut into small chunks and fried until perfectly crispy on the outside and tender and moist inside. It was served with red risotto rice uniquely made and accompanied by side order of Morning glory vegetable ( a staple vegetable in Vietnam and unfortunately hard to come by in the states).
The advanced booking necessary seemed odd for the town but after visiting, its reputation is well earned. Give it a try...

Four of us went to Morning Glory. You usually need a reservation. It is crowded most of the time and seating is tight. All the food is fresh and plentiful.
