“Very friendly staff and appropriate priced rooms for price.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

Not the cheapest option for budget travelers but is a great place to stay for the price. Rooms were very clean and the minibar was actually same price as the supermarket. We were just here for one night but it was a great place to relax after a full day.

There is also a good place to rent a scooter right next door if you want to explore outside of Hoi An.

The staff was nice and had some good conversations for us as we waited for our taxi. They also had a good shuttle can to the airport for bigger groups which was a fair price.

I would recommend it and had an enjoyable stay

Thien Nga was one of the nicest places that we stayed in in our 5 week stay in and around south east Asia. The rooms were excellent and always made up and spotless. I couldn't say a single bad thing about the hotel. The room had a balcony which over looked the garden below. The staff were extremely friendly and always happy to see us. The man who appeared to run the hotel was one of the friendliest people we met on our trip. The hotel was located a little ways from the 'main' section of town, you could call, it but it was a maximum of a 5 minute walk which was no hassle what so ever. The breakfast wasn't overly indulgent as there wasn't a buffet but there was plenty to choose from on the menu. I will happily recommend this hotel to anyone I meet! We really enjoyed our stay.

We checked into this hotel and stayed for 4 nights in a family room with 4 people. The hotel was clean and in a good location near many other hotels in Hoi An. The staff were generally very friendly except they were not very accomodating when we requested to check out late because one of our travel companions was sick and needed to rest. They said it would be $30 extra US for another 4 hours. It's understandable because the town is very busy just after the Tet holiday but considering we spent 4 nights here at $50 US/night we thought they might offer us something a little better. That being said, every other request we had was fulfilled and the staff was always available with questions. The breakfast was FANTASTIC with omellettes, banana pancakes, fruit smoothies, coffee, tea and bread. Would have liked a pool (Lonely Planet said they had one).

Room Tip: We stayed in the family room with 2 beds and four people. Lots of room. Quiet on the 'garden v...

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff where helpful and friendly without being pushy. The rooms where wonderful, quiet, comfortable, full of light, with great views of the rice paddies out the back. The rooms and bathrooms where spotlessly clean. We had a room with a little deck with a view that we just loved. They have computers set up with wifi that came in very handy. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Room Tip: Its a little extra, but get a room with a little outside deck and a view, totally worth it.

Booked on line for one night and stayed for 4. Rooms at the back are lovely with a balcony over looking fields of water spinach. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is very good omelettes, boiled eggs, breads, jams, and honey.lots of great exotic fruits and great coffee although the don't do Pho, they get their own from round the corner and it was gorgeous. It's close to town and they hire out bikes.

we stayed here for one night and the cost was $42 a night including breakfast. The room over looked the rear rice paddies and was lovely from that perspective, however there is better value out there in Hoi an. The room itself was okay. The shower had broken tiles. You could not open the door at night due to mosquitoes so it was warm without any window open. The breakfast was good, one of the better ones on our nearly month in Vietnam. Shop around as better value out there.

We booked into the Thien Nga for three nights and wound up staying for a week. Had a room at the back of the building which gives a wonderful view of the fields at the back. Everything was great from start to finish. This place is sparkling clean - much cleaner than your own home (unless of course you wash your bedroom floor every day and the rest of the floors two or three times). The rooms are very large and comfortable with good air conditioning, a lovely view, and a little fridge with cold beer for a buck each. The staff is very accommodating and will give you all the information you need without trying to push their own tours. Free internet in the lobby with a whole bank of desktops. The breakfasts were terrific - try the semi-sludgy Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. Eggs or omelettes cooked to order. Best thing though was the fresh pineapple pancakes. A previous review mentioned an exorbitant rate for rental bicycles. Nonsense. A buck a day same as everywhere else. Location just a small distance from the absolute centre of town but no problem for us. Do yourself a favour - stay here, rent a bike, then cruise the surrounding area by day, dine in the incredible restaurants of Hoi An in the evening, wake up the next day and have the Thien Nga's incredible breakfast, then do it all over again.
