We first went there for drinks one evening. Although the place is fairly basic, it is located on the river front with great views across the river, very charming at night. Service by the lady owner was just ok, to be fair, she seemed to be rushed off her feet. Her husband was a lot more amiable and jovial. He repeatedly praised his famous Cao Lau (a Hoi An noodle speciality),and a lot of peaple came in for dinner, so we went for lunch a couple of days later. When we ordered, his somewhat overbearing wife told us , just one plate of Cao lau each would not be enough, and talked us into ordering a plate of fresh vegetarian spring rolls as well. This, as well as both the veggie and pork Cao Lau were nice, but not so sure about being the best in Hoi An. Prices were very reasonable.
