Stayed two weeks at this hotel from 24th Sept 2012 and it is the worst hotel for food that we have ever stayed in. Don't expect a lot regarding food on all inclusive holiday but do expect some choice and hot food. Only 13 warm trays with food, 3 of which were chips (mostly cold) 1 rice, 1 pasta, 3 veg (baked beans, spinach) 2 fish, 1 bolognese, 1 meat and 1 lucky dip. Cold counter had about 20 dishes with lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise plus 4 trays with cold aubergines and cheese. Same each day, lunch & dinner. If you could get a table to sit at you were lucky. Lunch from 12.30 to 2 and dinner from 7 to 9pm so always queing for seats. If you weren't there at beginning most of food gone so left with chips and salad. Hve never had to spend so much money on holiday for just eating out. Rooms were very basic, no drawers, only one wardrobe for all clothes. Hotel is nice to look at and location is good, right on beach in centre of town. Staff were mostly good and place is clean. Have as much alcohol as you like but don't expect coffee as machines issue brown water with powdered milk not coffee and this is in paper or plasctic cups. Only better coffee is one urn for early breakfast and between 5 and 6pm for afternoon tea and cakes. Best food was afternoon burgers at 3pm. Only two lifts in our buiding that take only 3 people each. Far too many rooms for quantity and variation of food, it's as if they have integrated other buildings and not increased restaurant. Hardly anywhere to sit during day, don't expect to get a lounger by pool as towels are always there even if no people. Overall nice looking hotel but expect to be eating out every day.
pay for limited sea view and stay on 4th floor.
