“Walked in walked out”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2011

I booked this holiday through the co oprative travel. We got off the plane, we had no transfer, got put on a other bus and then dropped off at dodgy little building called a taxi rank then taken to our hotel. Our check in time was 2 we arrived at 4 and we never had a room ready for us. We had to wait 45 minutes bare in mind our flight was 6am tuesday morning and had been up since 6 the morning before. When our room was finally ready we got put in a studio on the forth floor with no lights. I paid for an appartment. He said the cleaners hadn't been in they only come in every 4 days?!!? He said he would move us the next day. I walked in to the room and just felt embarrassed. I booked this holiday for my boyfriends birthday present. The shower was mouldy not even a dog would shower in there! The fridge on the outside was moldy didn't dare open in. There was mould on the inside of the window! I didn't even stay the two weeks I moved to another hotel! Another 4 people also move from that hotel. Albert and his co workers assaulted a women which I saw with my own eyes! I would be very careful if you stay here. But I advise you not too! The second hotel I stayed at just down the road was the best holiday ever and have already booked to go back next may : D

I'm not usually put of by negative reviews as I believe whats good for some is awful for others...however!! Our flight was five hours delayed so didn't arrive until 4 in the morning. We were put in a ground floor room looking onto the small pool. This was right beside the bar area and pool table. ( and i'm talking right outside the window) The noise from the tv/music and people playing on the pool table went on until 5am and the tv came back on at 7.30, therefore had no sleep. The room had a dirty smell to it although clean sheets. The bathroom also had a dirty smell and was in desperate need of upgrade. The facilities were the most basic i've ever seen and i've traveled around Greece and turkey staying in very basic accomodation. We decided things would not get better the longer we stayed there and left after the first night. The accomodation was very cheap and I surpose you get what you pay for. We found another appartment that we paid £20 a night for which included air con and no hidden extras, was spotlessly clean and peaceful. After speaking to other guests it's a 'you either love it or hate it'. I must say though for the short time we were there the young staff were very friendy and us leaving was no reflection on them. It just wasn't what we wanted and looking back on the reviews I think in future I will pay more notice of the amount of neg reviews regarding this appartment.

As like many im not put off with negative reviews and always go with an open mind as too many people exspect more than they pay for!,but have to say that upon arriving at this hotel totally agreed with the neg reviews, yes had our luggage taken to top 4th floor up 8 flights of stairs and with walking difficulties and no lift, but was told there was, had no ground floor available entered a run down grotty apartment with nothing that worked, kettle,no shower hose the list was endless and staff that didnt appear to care, the aircon flooded all over the balcony and our room!,The day after Albert informed me he had a ground floor room did i want it? looked at it and was much better and cooler,so took it,that night in this room the fuse box exploded and set on fire and the way it was dealt with was something out of a Laurel and Hardy film, but we laughed and from that point never stopped laughing, the staff were absolutely brilliant and King Albert who does appear ignorant when you do speak to him you will find he has the most brilliant sense of humour as did all of them and they did make our holiday brilliant,we met some fantastic people and by the end didnt want to leave and will be going back next year,so forget the little details that it could do with updating as they more than make up for it in entertaining you making sure you enjoy it,we left with big hugs and sadness and with a display of fireworks!!!! So to all staff at the Sincerity,King Albert, all the 3 Mustafas,Sam,Ahmed, Mehmet and of course Mehmets little boy a GREAT BIG THANK YOU SEE YOU ALL NEXT YEAR,Ann and Sam from Sheffield Yorkshire aka" The Yorkshire Puddings"lol.xxxxxxxxx

My second time staying here and i loved it again!! :) ! its not a 5 star hotel...no... but when you leave you feel like 5 stars :). The SINCERITY CREW AND KING ALBERT are such gentlemen, so kind and will do anything to keep you happy :) The hotel is lovely, nice big rooms with plenty of wardrobe space for the women lol! nice and clean with kettle cups beverages and more!! Also fridge for the drinks :) !!! Entertainment in the evening is amazing and sooo funny i would rather have a night in at the hotel myself :) Perfect for all ages teenagers as clubs are near by, familys theres a kiddies pool and kids disco and elderly couples as so relaxing and the guys look after everyone! ...The views around the place and off the balconys are beautiful and theres plenty of fun days out aswell :) ALREADY PLANNING MY NEXT TIME THERE :) IF U GO HAVE A LOVELY HOLIDAY I NO U WILL :) XX

Room Tip: i would recommend middle floor, bigger rooms and lovely balcony with great view

I stayed at this hotel during my stay in marmaris and i would not recommend it to anyone. The service is absolutely crap, the rooms are falling apart, the bathroom is disgusting (theres all mold in the showers), and they try and charge u for thing u have not even bought. Trust me this is not a hotel u want to stay at. Bad hotel, bad location however is a lovely place so dont let a crap hotel like sincerity spoil it for u

Had an excellant time in turkey, the hotel was great and the staff were very friendly and helpfull and would do anything for you!
Apon arrival the staff were there to greet us and help us with our luggage which was great as not used to that kind of service u r usually left to carry you own luggage!
The room were large and spacious which was great wasnt expecting a large room like that for what we paid usually it s all in one room, this time had seperate bedroom, front room, balcony.
King Albert and Ronaldo and the rest of staff thanx for great holiday and making us feel welcome will see you in september

I dont usually get put off by negative reviews but have to say some of the comments i've read are accurate for these apartments.. but to be fair, there are some good points too!

location is ok, not a great deal going on in the area but the local Dolmus bus stops outside so its very easy (and cheap) to get into town if you dont fancy walking.. Can be noisy if you are on the road side of the building with traffic and noise from the bar below..

Rooms are very basic and a little shabby (which I did expect from other reviews) - Air con a little pricey at £30 per week.. Safety box (at reception) £15 a week

- it would be very difficult to cater for a family on the 2 ring cooker hotplate and 2 pans provided!

- the fridge in our room was barely working, door didnt fit properly and food went off so we stopped buying anything fresh

- general cleanliness left a bit to be desired but we did get clean bedding and towels regularly

- showers were cold.. only got warm(ish) water early evening!

- the reception door is usually locked from the afternoon onwards which means you have to enter and exit via the bar/restaurant which can make you feel a little uncomfortable at times, especially if not eating there!

- the bar staff are welcoming and helpful but have to say that self proclaimed "king" albert isn't the friendliest of managers i've ever come across! - fine if you are spending plenty in the bar and on food but a little ignorant if you aren't.. Many times we passed him in the bar or on the reception (which is small) and he never even raised his head to acknowledge you were there.. It feels as if he's all about getting you to spend as much there as possible rather than wanting you to enjoy your holiday!

- the pool area is nice enough and clean, not many sunbeds tho so get in early with your towel as most seem to do..

- food was cheap in the restaurant, a little basic but cant complain - we only really had breakfasts and the odd meal when too tired to go elsewhere

- entertainment was put on every night which is fine if thats what you want.. bingo, quizzes, karaoke etc - not our cup of tea but saw many enjoying it.. the bar staff seemed to work hard to keep everyone entertained

Over all it didnt ruin our holiday in Marmaris, which is a lovely place but definately wouldn't stay at the Sincerity again..
