“Good hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

Enjoyed a week at the grand pasa.the food was very good, hotel room was modern clean and the beds were very comfortable. Went on an all inclusive package, drinks were disappointing because of the small glass sizes and the long queues to get served !! As we have stayed in five star hotels before the service at this hotel was poor : no waiter service.
but we did not let it put us off. Entertainment team was very friendly and made our stay enjoyable.

Firstly I wad impressed on arrival , hotel is very clean , reception staff , restaurant staff and bar staff have no personality at all, the first week the entertainment was poor , food was cold and bland , however the second week this was amended as it was school holidays, the best part of the holiday was the shopping and mostly the tattoo done by the genius " mete tungaz" believe me his work is mind blowing , very good prices and truly exceptional work , I would return just for a tattoo

Me and my fiance just got back from an amazing holiday at this hotel and gorgeous town! Our hotel was lovely, the pool guy Charlie works sooo hard and deserves a pay rise DEFINATELY (he works the equilivant i would say of 3 men) and in that heat hats off to him! The entertainment team got everyone involved and it was fun to watch! We had a Turkish Bath on our first day. Harry from the Spa was friendly and helpful and offered us a great deal! The daily maid on our floor (5th floor) was always smiling :) and kept our room spotless, she was really polite and always greeted us in the mornings with a big 'Hello'.
The restaurant was ok, the food was nice but one of the staff members in the restaurant was not happy were we sat and in front of us kicked a chair in fustration! Which i thought was a little uncomfortable.
We went on the 'jeep safari' with cheeky kevin (leader) and our jeep driver was Alex - the day was exceptional we went to a waterfall, a wishing tree, jesus beach, visit little villages and had a massive water fight! It was so fun and i would definately recommend it!
Overall a pleasant experience at this hotel and would definately go back and recommend to my friends and family xxxx

We went here on the 11th of may with an open mind to how the hotel would be.. As soon as we got off the coach we was greated by the bell boys who took our luggage for us to the reception, in which we checked in and the bell boys showed us to our rooms, our 1st impression was wow this is loverly!! Through out the week we never went hungry even my parner and my brothers parnter whom quite picky on there food found plenty to eat from breakfast to dinner.. The maids were fantastic rooms cleaned everyday with patterns made on our beds, on our first day there we had a turkish bath in the resort spa which was fantastic, iv had 2 before it but this was far the best defently something to try.. The staff was friendly our partners never got harrased once.. The only time we did is when we went out for a walk into marmaris ALL The trip companys kept asking us to book trips with them ect.. We would defently go back to the grand pasa and would recomend it to anyone.. We would like to say a big thank you to (Harry huseyin) who went out of his way vircally everyday to say hi or even to have a conversation with us in perfect english.... If you are looking at this hotel and hesitating, then don't. Book it. I have scored it average as there is room for improvement which I will come on to later. This hotel is friendly, clean, budget appropriate and one of the best I have stayed at in Marmaris.
Nice clean room with an army of cleaners everywhere, from toilet attendants to the barmen taking pride in where they work...if there is rubbish or mess they remove it. Charlie the pool attendant/lifeguard is a gem and works harder in one day than most people do in a month. The majority of restaurant/bar staff are a joy....polite, friendly and funny if you engage with them and treat them with the respect they deserve. Musa and Guner at the pool bar are lovely as is the adorable lady who makes the local savoury pancake "Gozleme" every day. The atmosphere promoted engagement with staff and other guests in a friendly happy environment. The same cannot be said for the "Animation Team". They wander aimlessly with clipboards and a sense of self importance determined, it would seem to annoy you, in the most false, unpleasant, space invading and noisiest way they can imagine. The music at the pool can be very noisy, however they will turn it down if you ask which I did as it was ruining mine and a lot of other guest's holiday. There is a time and place for hard core techno beats and chilling by the pool isn't it.
My only other issue was that there was no outside eating area of the main restaurant. I do not like the "Mess Hall" canteen type restaurant and like to eat alfresco so this was a huge disappointment. Please, Mr Pasa if you read this, change this one thing, it will make the world of difference to a lot of guests. We did find sanctuary in a small alcove inside which made it more bearable. The food was tasty and the buffets were beautifully presented. Some return guests told me the food had gone downhill but I understand the price of lamb and beef in Turkey at the moment is sky high so this might well be the reason. Everything I tasted was good and the range of salad was amazing. Personally I love Turkish Pide/ Lahmajun and would love this served at lunchtime in the snack bar as well as the restaurant. There is always something for everyone but please, potato dauphinoise more than once a week! it was delish!
The rooms overlooking the "Green Nature" are very noisy.
I had a fab holiday, where I met lovely people. A few tweaks are all that is needed. The personal touches here are great, something I should also mention. I was my birthday whilst I was there and had a letter through my door wishing me a happy birthday. Return guests had fruit bowls, robes and a reunion party. I recommend this hotel whole heartedly and will return with my family.

Room Tip: Not overlooking "Green Nature" hotel or in the corners of the hotel, pool front. Due to th...

Just returned from a week at the Grand Pasa and an enjoyable relaxing week was had by all but I can make the following few points which may help you if you are thinking of making a booking.

Location - Trip Advisor's map for this hotel is wrong... look elsewhere, the hotel is not next to the marina in Marmaris as stated but roughly located the same distance between both Marmaris and Icmeler, personally I would have preferred a beach fronted hotel for the cool breeze in the constant heat but the Grand Pasa is only a couple of streets away from the sea.

Resort - A great promenade to enjoy long walks and buses a plenty if preferred, only downside is the constant mither to shop/eat/drink, I know we are in a recession and this should be expected but it was never ending and 'no thanks' was the most popular words from my lips all holiday instead of just ignoring the regular invitations.

Hotel - Spotless, excellent service, free WiFi in reception, great choice for food and drink but personally I missed the classic 'Full English' option and deserts were all too similar (full of honey) and not my preferred choice.

Entertainment - No doubt a very hard working team but lacked quality acts in the evening and loud music/'musical chairs' type games by the pool during the day is not for me...

Overall a pleasing week away, the kids loved it and I will no doubt return if the price is right.
