We went the end of September and were pleasantly surprised at how busy it was. Hotel and room very modern and clean, the cleaner was very pleasant and done a fabulous job every day.
Ideal location, right on the beach however get some water shoes if you can as it's pebbly. No entertainment in the hotel but because it is very close to Icmeler and a number of bars (I recommend Faros bar) this didn’t bother us. The further you walk towards the Harbour the livelier it becomes, after about 30 minutes of walking you're right in all of the nightlife. Although we’re a young couple we did enjoy the bars nearer the hotel but families and older couples would enjoy this too.
If you go shopping for clothes etc go to the centre nearer the harbour as they’re lot cheaper than the shop across the road to the hotel.
I would also recommend the boat trip at £10 per person, the Jet Ski’s and the rings. The spa in the hotel was nice too and the package we got was fabulous, for £20 you got a Sauna, Steam Room, Swim, Jacuzzi, Exfoliate, Turkish Bath, Face Mask and Massage. They also supplied photographs too which were good but worth bartering the price. You’re better off getting this done at the start of your holiday too for a better tan.
Food was not great, very repetitive but on the odd occasion very good for example the Kebab night. This didn't bother us too much as we didn't expect it to be perfect for the price we paid (a holiday self catering would be about the same price anyway.) My partner enjoyed the drinks but I never really had a choice of what to get as I am not a great wine, beer or vodka drinker, maybe if they served cocktails with even local drinks this would be good such as local Malibu, Baileys etc.
We found the bar staff very friendly, the restaurant staff polite and tentative however some (not all) of the reception staff we found quite rude.
We also had a MAJOR problem with the air conditioning in our room; it would come on sometimes and go off at others for no reason. We reported this numerous times throughout our stay but never got anywhere and never received any apology. They would come check it and be very puzzled as to why it wouldn't come on until it came on at its own accord. We would then send for them again the day after and they would say make sure the door is closed (which we did) but because it was on again by the time they called they didn't know what was wrong. This went on for 4-5 days of the holiday and by the 4th I sat up for about 1 hour in the early hours for the hotel manager to call to the room which he never did. When I complained the next day he said it was a problem throughout the hotel (which we know wasn't true as a number of people said theirs was fine).
I would rate the hotel excellent, the only reason I haven’t is because of the air con and the service we received in connection to this. All in all it was a fabulous holiday, very relaxing, ideal location and friendly people. I would go back to this hotel but with the intention of eating out. It would also be interesting to know if they have a wider variety of drinks next time too?
