“Magic time at Magic Life”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2011

My wife and i, returned for the second time with her sister and husband, i find this resort absolutely brilliant, we came back this year as i couldnt fit all the fun in 10 days in 2009, spending 14 days this year, once again thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Found our European colleagues enjoyed reading my different t shirts, broke the ice as did football chat...Looking forward to our third trip inJune this year....Entertainment team, food, facilities all 10/10.

I have just been looking at Club magic life for next year on the Thompson’s website and notice that there are big changes in store for this place. Myself and partner went to Club magic life in Sep 2009 and had one of the best holidays ever. The main reason for this apart from the amazing views from our room and the great all inclusive food and drink was the Activities! We tried things on this holiday that we had never tried before like water skiing, wind surfing, archery the list goes on but looking at the this place for next year it is changing name and turning into an adult only hotel (This is not a bad thing) but it looks as if all the great activities are gone which is not good. They are now marketing this place as a chilled out relaxing place which it already was, this was the beauty of the Club magic you could do as much as you wanted at NO EXTRA CHARGE or as little as you wanted.
We have also been keeping an eye on the prices of this holiday over the past year and it seems that the better the reviews are (which it totally deserved) the more expensive the price to stay here went up.
We paid £700 each for 10 days here and as mentioned this was everything including all water sports and visits to both a la carte restaurants. Now for the same period in 2011 the price was over £1000 each No water sports and you even have to pay extra for one of the a la carte restaurants. I can’t see this working out for Club magic life, the place is beautiful but is quite far out from Marmaris so taking away the activities this place will be boring!! I think we would rather go back to Mexico next year as this can offer the same chilled out luxury at a similar price.
Also we will certainly think twice in future about putting glowing reports about places we visit as it looks like this strongly affects the price of the holiday the following season.

Just Returned,Its now the last week of the session and as in all reviews its what it says in the tin majic 10/10.
Just a shame about Thomsons end of the deal. .First the coach stops for a so called comfort break after 1 hour after leaving the airport,This i am told always happens and is out of order as no one wants it as you just want to get to your resort,Thomson rep Sue said they must have there break and Turkishs coach driver must stop after 1-5 hours, more like a back hander from the cafe?and after a allready 1-5 hours waiting around at the airport the total transfer took well over 4 - 5 hours, thats longer then the flight
Its also supposed to be a premier resort, late check out,but we left on the way back at 10.15 am for a 4 pm flight home so we lost a days holiday somewhere
anyway as for Majic life you were great and could not be faulted ,just a same Thomson are takeing the place over next year as it it can only go one way down hill.
A note on the Germans they all seemed fine to me and have all made an effort to speak English, makes us british look bad as we cant speak German or not many of us can.
Ii played many a game of tennis which the Germans and they told me and i dont no if its true, but once Thomson take over next year that they cant book this place up anymore as Thomson dont operate out of Germany and they are very disapointed,so it will seem there should be some good late bargains to be had as the Germans seem to fill 50% up of this resort?
125 steps to our room 603 and if you miss your step on the way down, and thats not hard your have a long fail and some broken bones,so dont drink to much
The beds are very hard to say the least and its great to be home with some springs under me now.
Majic life it is and overall 9/10 even the boose is good, well the beer and wine is fine and for late october we had 5 out of 7 good days at 26 degress
Turkey is a great place for a holiday and would return again, but not here, its very nice but its far to far out of it and theres nowhere to go for a nice walk in the evening ,but overall for a week its great go for it

I would recommend this hotel to mature couples or couples who want to relax. I went to club magic life marmaris for two weeks with my long term boyfriend the hotel was absolutly beautiful and the bar staff and antertainment staff were fantastic. The food was good to start off with but we realised that the themed nights may as well have not been going on as it was the same most nights although there was alot to choose from. It was better than most all inclusive hotels that ive been to but satisfactory considering the cost of club magic life. The majority of the guests are german and have a totally different culture and manners to the english which was difficults as some of them came across as very rude to me who is used to english culture. I feel as though i was descriminated against by a particular member of the managment team as i had an altercation with a german man over a deck chair (which i tried to avoid) and the manager completely ignored anything i had to say once HE had complained and after talking to us both she explained some things to him in a pleasant manner in GERMAN and then walked past me and left without even looking at me and i felt this was the case all on the holiday as i called it to my bf "germans first"............. i was furios as i had paid good money to go there and did not expect to be the victim of racism. This hotel is lovely and i expect that not everybody would share my experiences. Goijng into marmaris was the highlight of my holiday at night but total hell in the day. The people are very pushy to sell you thing and can even become agressive i would recommend staying in a small group. the nightlife is fantastic for the old and young with there being a range of restaraunt, bars and nightclubs with something for everyone. Overall i would say turkey is a nice country but if your looking for a party, fun, cheesy holiday book into a cheap hotel in marmaris and if you want to relax in luxury dont go to club magic life go to another part of turkey or another country. but i will say with there being as bus every hour and taxis being cheap to marmaris it is a pretty good combination of romance and relaxing and partying and shopping.

We stayed here from the 30 th of September for one week. We always grade our holidays out of 10, and this one got a 10! The location was superb with 75 per cent of The hotel surrounded by the sea. The whole area belonged to the hotel so all areas including the beach were only accessible to hotel guests.

Our room had an amazing view, we could lie in bed and see the marina. It was very comfortable and very clean with towels and bedding changed regularly. The food was amazing with a great selection. There really was something for everyone. We particularly
loved The Mediterranean Restaurant which was situated on wooden decking over the sea.
The food was outstanding and we loved the musician, he should make a disc because we
would have bought it. It was a lovely romantic evening.

The bus service ran every 30 minutes to and from Marmaris. It collected from right outside the hotel. Marmaris is a lively town with a great bazaar and harbour.

We would love to return here in the future.

Had two weeks at magic life and the hotel is as good as everyone says. The setting is stunnig, food wonderful and the staff are lovely. The room that we had was very clean and roomy and looked after daily to a very high standard, we really couldn't fault anything. The only down side to our holiday was the general rudeness of our fellow guests. I am in no way zenophobic but after spending two weeks in the comany of some of our European cousins I was ready to get away from them. That aside everything else was just perfect. I would recomend the two day excursion to Ephesus & Pammukale and the trip to Rhodes. All in all the holiday was very good vale for money.

I read trip advisor before going and the majority of reviews were excellent. I was not disappointed - we loved the place. Despite being out of season, the place was still buzzing with life. Unfortunately for us it rained for our full week!! We were a little concerned that this might be because the resort is in a bay on a hillside; not sure of other people's experiences at other times. Staff in the resort were lovely, and there are a couple of al la carte restaurants that you can book and get first class service. The all inclusive is what it says. The resort is around 8 km outside Marmaris but their is a little bus that stops outside the gates of the resort that takes you straight to one of the biggest bazzars imaginable! There was lots of fake handbags and watches but you had to barter and to be honest they were not that cheap. Pounds and Euros are widely accepted and indeed preferred by everyone. I would love to go back a second time in the hope of getting better weather
