“Think carefully before staying in this hotel!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

My partner and i booked into this hotel, wish we hadnt!.

Cold showers, dirty, bedding was changed once during our stay. Very very noisy all night long. Staff are helpful if they know you are going to spend money. Definately would not stay at this hotel ever again. In definate need of an complete overall.

Room Tip: There are no good rooms!

recently stayed at this hell hole. 6 of us in total so we had 3 rooms, putting the 3 rooms together u wouldnt have had 1 decent 1. no tv, fridge, kettle or even a bin between them. windows filthy, no shower curtains, not that that mattered because showers very tempremental & only worked when they wanted 2. when i go on holiday i allways enjoy 1 lazy day in the pool, yeah right, the pool thats covered over & tables & chairs put on top, when i ask why was told it was end of season, but all other hotels still useing pools. booked & paid 4 B&B, great if u want olives 4 breakfast, but if u want a nice bit of bacon get your wallet out because u have 2 pay. bed was old & very hard, pillows like a bag of marbles. im far from a snob, but id pitch a tent on the beach b4 ever stepping foot in this hell hole again. only good thing, there were no cockroaches here, clever things had more sense.

My partner and I had originally booked into another hotel but were "diverted" to the London Blue at the last minute. We accepted the change on account of the short notice and partly because of the a literature accompanying the alteration email.

Well, here goes:

The London Blue has NOT been recently renovated.

The pool is covered over to provide extra tables for the restaurant,

The shower/WC had mould (and there was no shower curtain.

The mattress was ancient.

On a positive note the staff were grand lads, except for the one who, as some Turkish friends said, served us with a smile but said something different in Turkish!

I suggest you look at the attached photographs before booking into this "renovated" hotel,

Upon arriving at the hotel everyone was so friendly and really helpful. When we got into the room it was basic but clean exactly what you expect. You get what you pay for. Hotel room had everything that was needed and I couldnt have asked for more. Rooms were cleaned frequently and well and cleaner was very friendly. Restaurant food was absolutely lovely the breakfast was perfect and at dinner time you have a choice of the usual restaurant food or the chinese. Chinese is really nice and we ate here everyday. Staff could not do enough for you always smiling, friendly and chatty. I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews for this hotel. Please IGNORE all bad reviews stay here and you will see why it is a lovely, cheap place to stay. Just as a note on some of the negative reviews previous to mine - of course the pool is closed it is now not in the summer and why would they open the pool when no one is using it - there is pools all around only 2 minutes away that you can use. As for the comment about someone 'forcing themselves on someone' I really cannot believe this, I have been for years to this hotel and know everyone, even so why where they in your room in the first place (unless i misunderstand your comment?). All of the staff are good friends now, and everyone I speak to who was here says they will always come back to the hotel and so shall we. As for 'not being safe for girls by themselves' I saw lots of girls here by themselves or in small groups and they were not hassled once, it must be what people do to attract attention that makes them be hassled.

Ignored all the bad reviews and wish I hadn't , We didn't even stay one night there , Literally walked in and walked out again . Safes are by the steps of the hotel , rooms are disgusting and they had closed the pool down , covered it with boards and put tables and chairs over it ! when we asked why they told us it hadn't been used for a couple of weeks so they covered it over , when we told them we paid for a hotel with a pool they told us to walk down the road and use a pool at another hotel we refused and found another hotel and had to pay again , we are still trying to get a refund from the travel agency for false advertising . Please take heed do not stay here .

me and my daughter fancied a chinese one night and london blue had on their hotel that they done chinese food, we approached the hotel walking from the amazing hotel club aida where we stayed and a guy who worked there holds up a sign saying "NO MINGING FOOD" as we got there they sat us down, we ordered our drinks and our childrens meals. the kids meals came quite quick with 8 chips counted on the plate. me and my daughter ordered from the chinese menu, we ordered spring rolls for starters which we asked for sweet and sour sauce to come out with them but it never, waiting for our main for an hour then when it came our sweet and sour sauce came with it, OVERLY OVERPRICED for what we had! nearly 100 lira for it all and we looked at the set menus and the main we got was the same as the set menu but we got double charged plus gave us change with a fake lira as i got told at my friendly lovely hotel that they were no longer in use! everytime the waiters were walking around the resturant it felt like we was going to go through the floor, didnt seem stable, thankgod we didnt stay there eating there was bad enough! AWFUL DONT GO THERE oh p.s whilst we were eating we had the bin men emptying big smelly bins.

Room Tip: go to club aida

Just come back read reviews before we went but thought there are some fussy people but i take it all back i would not even kennal my dog there . 6 of us went so we had 3 rooms it was late when we arrived about 12.30 at night but with in the first 10 mins 2 of us had to chnge our rooms due to noise not that it made much difference there were no sheets on the beds , electric sockets hanging of the walls floors were very dirty bathroom what a joke no shower curtians or loo roll pillows like rock , but being late we went straight out . on getting up the next morning went to have a shower no hot water so we go for breakfast as we had paid bed and breakfast but what a suprise we could only have the turkish breakfast or pay for the english as i explained to the rep it said nothing about us only having the turkish breakfast he went to ask for us and the response was no chance turkish or nothing . i asked were is the pool as it was covered over we were told because it was the end of the season it had been shut but later found out of a local it had been shut because it was to dangerous , we only used this hotel to sleep in and never spent a penny in there as we felt they did not care but there loss in the end . there are so many other things i could go on about but just do not go there im not a snob and have done hoildays on a budget but this was so bad the worst of the worst
