“a hidden treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

We stayed here for 10 days and it was absolutely wonderful, we had 2 rooms on the top floor 302 and 303 both rooms were perfect, clean, comfortable and so peaceful, the view over the marina was gorgeous, now I, m home I miss it terribly. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
It was my husbands 50th birthday whilst we were there, after talking to the lady at reception I had a choice of wine and fruit in the room or a birthday cake at dinner, provided complimentary from the hotel.
We saw turtles swimming right outside the hotel.
We found this to be the perfect hotel in a beautiful relaxing setting-a good place to go if you need to chill out.
Other reviews have said about the need for some maitenence and I would agree with all of those comments but it really wont effect yr holiday.
If I had one complaint it would be the day passes the hotel sells to yacht people to use the swimming pool.these people are often noisy with unruly children-not all obviously but did cause a few problems the days we were there, the pool men tried their best to control the situation but it was a bone of contention amongst hotel guests and management maybe should consider their paying guests feelings over extra profit.
If you are on your way to this hotel-im jealous and would return in a heartbeat-you will have a wonderful time.

Did not use the hotel as we were on a catamaran. However the facilities were excellent, with air con in the toilets. All the usual facilities and a good supermarket. Shops and restaurants Are a short walk away and there are great views of the bay and mountains. Te only downside is that the short stay moorings are of course the furthest away and it is a hike over some uneven decking, watch out.

Had wonderful 10 day stay at the Marina. We had a standard room which was fine - well equipped with tea/coffee maker, safe, air con, free wi.fi. etc. Probably now needs some TLC particularly the bathroom which looks tired and dated. However this is more than compensated for by the stunning view from the bedrooms which overlook the Marina to the mountains as a backdrop. The hotel is set in well maintained gardens with a superb pool area. Plenty of sunbeds and brollys and with only 48 bedrooms there were always some available ( (no need for towel on the bed at 6am) Breakfast was on the roof of the hotel with again beautiful views. Wide and varied choice for breakfast with cooked to order hot food. All high quality. We had half board and so had dinner outside on the decking overlooking the Marina - beautiful!. The food and service were excellent. Costs of drinks were on the high side compared to in the town.
Location for us was perfect - quiet and secluded but only a five minute walk to the hustle and bustle of Fethie town with its many shops, restaurants and bars. Like previous contributors we met so many guests who were returning for the second or third time which says a lot for the hotel.
All the staff we met were very friendly, helpful and efficient.
Would we return like many previous guests - absolutely!

This is our second visit at this hotel. My sister & brother in law stayed at this hotel for the first time & were shocked as never really fancied staying at Turkey. They are well travelled & said it was the best holiday ever.Great location & such a fabulous hotel. The staff were very helpful. The reception girls in particular were more than helpful (can't remember their names) as they moved us to a top floor room at our request. The hotel has only 3 floors & not many rooms(can't remember how many) but they were very clean & top notch including air con & a safe.
The food was delicious, plentiful & varied. We stayed half board but intended to eat out sometimes but this never happened as we were impressed at the quality & variety.
We stayed on 9th June for 1 week & the weather was amazing :)
We enjoyed trips to Chalis Beach on the water bus & is just a short stroll along the front & reasonably priced. We also hired a jeep for 4 days so we could do a bit of exploring.
We met some lovely guests at this hotel who are regular guests & I can understand why.
The hotel pool & sunbeds are brilliant...even cushions for your back & head!
What I liked is that nobody reserved a sunbed with a towel!! There is also beds on the jetty with a welcoming breeze :)
There was no entertainment which suited us just fine as plenty bars at just a short stroll away.
We will most definitely stay at this hotel again but my worry is,that when people read this review, they will all want to stay & there will be no rooms left for us :(
Such a great location overlooking a marina with no traffic running in front of the hotel.SIMPLY PERFECT :)
Whoever books this hotel,i can assure you that you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: must stay on top floor, definately not ground floor(unless you are disabled)

Stayed here for one night on a recent yachting trip. We were sick and tired of sleeping on crap beds on a yacht. The hotel is very pretty and set in lovely gardens. If you berth at the marina you get a substantial discount on the hotel rooms. We booked a double and were upgraded to a suite. To be honest the suite was great but for an overnight the standard double would have been fine, if you were here for a week I'd go a suite for the extra room. Hotel was clean, staff friendly and the amenities also very good. Standout for me was probably the amazing pool area with grea view over the marina. I'd probably rate the hotel 4 star. If you're looking for a night of luxury after sailing I cant recommend this place highly enough. If you were her for a week I think you may get a little bored.

Some of the comments on the hotel concerned e prior to our visit however, I am pleased to say that we found the hotel to be excellent value for money. Our suite was tastefully decorated and spacious and the half board food option was excellent. The location of the hotel is also superb being right n the marina and a short stroll to town. They also enjoy a fantastic climate! The only criticism I could raise would be on the price of drinks; whilst being fairly comparable to European prices, they appeared expensive when compared to the rest of Fethiye. Overall a very good hotel prompting my review when we still have a few days remaining.

Room Tip: Go for a suite.

there are now many hotels in Fethiye but the traditional style and service at the Ece Saray Marina takes a lot of beating
one of the attractions of Fethiye is a twelve islands (or twelve bays) boat trip and with so many boiats on offer it pays to be 'picky' and we were fortunate to go on 'happy-days', clean and run efficiently with charm by Penny from Scotland
from Fethiye take a rental car (or better still for local atmosphere a shared taxi-bus) up towards the mountains to the lovely little village of Uzumlu or to the heavenly beach lagoon at Oludeniz, heavenly that is if you can time it to avoid the crowds, further afield so many interesting places to visit and always the lovely Turkish hospitality - long may it last

Room Tip: a lovely 'vista' of Fethiye bay and marina is a bonus
