“Great view of Fethiye Marina from our room”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2012 via mobile

Couldn't ask for a better view and proximity to the marina. Very nice breakfast buffet, also with great views.

The hotel is in I think the best setting for this area, right on the Marina. Just a short walk to all the bars and restaurants in the town and on the marina. Very friendly locals and lots of choice for eating out and shopping. The fish market is a must for lunch or evening meals which are very reasonable in the town, but a bit pricey in the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a Marina view room

Just got back from a week at this hotel. i stayed here with my family when i was younger and remembered how amazing it was, and decided to return. when we arrived we were given a room on the ground floor (even though we had requested a top floor room with the company that we booked with) this wasn't too much trouble. as we arrived late at night, they said that someone would come for our bags in the morning, to help us change rooms. which they did.

the view from the hotel is fantastic. it is so tranquil and relaxing around the huge pool. it is a hotel mainly occupied by retired couples (who constantly put up the huge umbarellas by the pool, taking out the sunlight on about 4 people! very rude we thought, especially when you have to move to get some more sun) as a young couple we found that it was maybe too quiet for some people. you get over this, and we still enjoyed ourselves.

the food at the hotel is good too. we only had breakfast, and had lunch a couple of times but very tasty, and only slightly more expensive that other nice places in the town.

the hotel has a spa, and on our last day, we booked massages. when we arrived at the spa we were asked to leave our belongings in the changing rooms, and could use the lockers provided. when we had finished the massages, the money that we left in the locker wasn't all there. now we can't prove that someone had gone in and took it, as it was locked. but when 2 people count some money, for 2 extremely overpriced massages, then surely they both can't be wrong?

anyway, we told the hotel about this (i think the spa is seperate to the hotel, different owners etc) the hotel took our details and said they would give them to the spa. we haven't heard anything. its not that we wanted money back, but we were just warning the hotel in case this happens to anybody else.

overall we had a great holiday, with that slight set back at the end.

would still go back..just avoid the spa!

Room Tip: request a room on the top floor. i have stayed in both a suite and a standard room here, and unless...

We returned to the Ece Saray hotel for a third time to spend two nights before our return
to N.Ireland at the end of our holiday. We love this hotel and the wonderful views overlooking the marina and the breakfast on the roof terrace was really good with such a variety to choose from. The downside was the tariff for our accommodation was quite high, being charged £150 per night bed breakfast and evening meal. Some might say this was not expensive as it is a top class hotel, but turkish prices in comparison to the UK are generally much lower and we had spent a few nights in the hotel next door and they charged considerably less. We had stayed at the Ece Saray in June past and had paid considerabley less than this time so expected to pay the same on our return and it was a bit of a shock when we got our bill. We spoke to another guest who had paid a lot less than ourselves so it is advisable to check out prices before booking and get it in writing. The reception we received at the Doruk hotel next door on our arrival there was far superior to what we received from the female receptionist at the Ece Saray as she was quite abrupt in her manner and we feel this needs to be addressed, we noticed this the last time when we were with three other friends who stayed at the hotel at the same time as us in June past, they also made the same comment. The male receptionists were very friendly as were the waiters in the restaurant. Sadly in view of the prices charged and reception we received, we feel we will be returning to another hotel on our next trip to Fethiye where we feel we will get better value for our money.

Just back home after our 2nd wonderful holiday at this beautiful hotel. I hesitate to praise it too much, as I wouldn't like too many people to find out about it!!! Suffice to say that we had another lovely holiday, in this peaceful and wonderful resort and we have already booked to go back next year. Just love it here!!!

It was our first time to Turkey, and my husband wasn't that enthusiastic, but was looking forward to 'a break', as it was our 1st real holiday in 5 yrs, as we had been working abroad. What a lovely suprise! From the minute we arrived, late at night, to the excellent breakfast with such a varied choice, the large pool area with comfy loungers through to the beautiful dinner setting, with tables along the edge of the marina. The mountain backdrop, lights in the distance and the fish swimming around below, was just idylic. The standard of food was really very good, and the restaurant and bar staff were exemplary. The spa was excellent as well, and definitely worth a visit. (although be aware that the 'Turkish Bath' treatments are all done by
strong, Turkish only speaking men - I passed mine on to my husband as 'a present' :-) and I had a pedicure instead! All other treatments are with smiley, friendly girls. Fethiye town is only
a short walk away, along the marina and harbour, with lots of waterside bars and restaurants, and a wide variety of shops. Quite a few of the guests were older, but we didn't mind the
peacefulness, especially by the pool, and everyone was friendly. Although, only negative about the pool area, was that some people would grab sun loungers, put towels on them and then go out for most of the day and not hardly use them! We will hopefully be going back next year, but maybe combine it with a gulet cruise or a visit to Istanbul as well. Lovely hotel and beautiful place.

Room Tip: Suites are lovely, but main difference is an extra sitting room. The standard rooms are fine.

we had our wedding with 23 guests the hotel was superb in the organisation of the event very well presented and a superb menu to choose from

the location speaks for itself

we used anatolian sky as our holiday provider and co-ordinators and they did a magnificent job without melissa who speaks turkish we would have had many problems caused by the language barriers. weverything down to the smallest details were covered

could go on for ever with recommending this venue made all our dreams come true for us and our guests
