We visited the ghost town in early June, and we glad we did not leave the trip any later as once the temperature began to soar I think it may have been more difficult. The 5TL entrance fee is well worth it, although the churches are closed for restoration until 2014. There are endless buildings to wander around and you could easily spend a full day here, although it is quite high and exposed, so adequate SPF and plenty of water is needed. Also, it is steep in many parts and the stones can be slippy and uneven, so sensible footwear is needed to make the most of your trip.
Well worth a visit, a beautifully preserved historical site just minutes from Hisaronu and within easy reach of OluDeniz. Absolutely fascinating.
