“you get what you pay for”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2011

I have just returned for carmina and I can say that the hotel was very basic it is only a 2 star and that was what is was like. The rooms were basic room needing a little update with new furniture, decoration was fine, the cleaners were there every day and they worked very hard from morning till night they never stopped. my shower had mould all around it and bare tiles and everything was on a tilt. The staff were fun and very helpfull, we had one problem with one at the very start of our holiday but that was resolved (dont give anyone a tip unless you want to) when we arrived we was asked to fill out a stupid form (we had all been up 24 hours and shattered but WE HAD TO complete the forms there and then) we just wanted our beds there were 10 of us so it took quite a bit of time as one had to be seen and completed at a time. We was in the block of rooms and we must have had the door bangers from hell staying there, nobody knew how to shut a door (Not sure if they had a problem with the doors closing) but this went on 24/7 which was a pain and woke you from sleep as it sounded as someone had just shut your door the whole place rocked. Breakfast was turkish only unless you wanted to buy it (buy it from the azda and take a cup of milk up to your room breakfast time with a bowl and spoon) sorted..... and keep your eyes on the lovely 3 puppies in the shop round the front of the hotel just to make sure they are ok please

Room Tip: The rooms round the edge ground level of the hotel/pool are larger dont have room 319 no balcony and...

i travelled with my husband and 3 children age 5yr, 7yr, 10ys, on 18th july i paid for 2 room and i only got one as they had sold it to another couple, a couple of days in to our hoilday my daughter keep back full of cat poo from the park they say is for kids it really isnt, it was used for there cats to soil into, and it had big panels of glass lent against the wall of it, also a 4ft drop from the park to there lower floors of the hotel rooms, the b/b board wasnt any good at all, there was nothing english aprt from eggs there, they didnt do ceral for the children and i got asked to buy my own milk for them from the bar .
I WOULDNT GO BACK HERE EVER AGAIN AND I WOULDNT GO THERE WITH CHILDREN.

This Hotel was basic, clean and close to all pubs, clubs and restaraunts. Staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Suitable for Families and couples who enjoy going out in the evening as there wasnt much entertainment for the kids. 1 restaraunt that i highly recommend is SHIRAZ newly opened this season food delicious, very reasonably priced and the owner Murphy was very friendly ......Booking tripsi advise to use Asset Travel as Ilhan and Memet will do all they can to help and give you reasonable prices....

This is the second time we have stayed and have always had a great holiday and made some great friends. The staff are absolutely fantastic especially Can, Jimmy, Ozzie and Charlie not forgetting the cleaners and other waiting and bar staff! The food at the hotel is also excellent and would recommend people to try it, especially the starter, main and wine for a tenner - thoroughly enjoyed the steak and mushrooms! Only came home yesterday but looking for flights already for October!

First of all it is not located in Fethiye, It is located in Hisaronu, there is 15min bus drive to Fethiye from Hisaruno and 10min bus drive to Oludeniz beach.
The staff were all kind and we enjoyed talking to them, Rooms were clean and OK. Pool area was nice, Breakfasts could be better because having same menu for a week is not desirable.
we definitely get more than what we payed for and if we want to pay as much as we payed on this trip, we will be back there for sure.
A/C costs extra and some of the rooms do not have refrigerator.

overall, everything was OK for a low budget hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms besides Pool area and Bar are noisy!

Stayed at carmina several times, but hadn't returned for several years. Good value for money! Food was great, staff were great! Maids work extremely hard. Locations good, 2mins walk to bars and restaurants. Overall it was a good holiday! Would definitely return.
