me and my boyfriend stayed at the pink palace in july last year and it was absolutly terrible. when we arrived we were put in a basement room which consisted of two single beds, despite the fact we had booked a double. we asked to be moved, and were moved that evening to ANOTHER basement room, which did have a double bed, but was literally dark all day because the only natural light came from a tiny slit window which was at ground level, and you couldnt leave it open because bugs and spiders came in! the toilet and the shower were literally centremeters away from each other and i can honestly say they were disgustingly dirty. i dont think our room was cleaned once.

we continusly asked to be moved from the basement to a room with a balcony through out our week long trip and were eventually moved on the night before we came home. which was utterly useless, and even that room was dirty and very badly in need of refurbishment. another family we talked to had had the same problem, and had asked to be moved onto another floor, which took them days to sort out. despite the hotel hardly being busy.

the food was ABSOLUTLY disgusting, the same thing was offered every day, and was left out from breakfast to dinner to lunch, crawling with wasps and sometimes even birds! the standard of hygiene was just ridiculous. they literally left the breakfast food out until 9 at night.we ended up eating out a few nights because we actually couldnt face the food another evening!

the 'all inclusive drinks' were limited to half a pint at a time, and stoppped serving around 11 to half 11, and the everning entertainment was non existant.
the hotel offers a 'free' bus down to the beach. DO NOT GET IT! it takes you to a private beach owned by a sister company of the hotel, where you have to pay to get on the beach, and pay for sunbeds drinks etc. the beach was veryvery dirty. the actual beach is a lot nicer, but you will have to pay for a taxi/bus down. and the bus driver refused to take us back to it, even though he was going back to the hotel, sowe walked in the baking heat for 20 minutes just the get back to the place we wanted to go in the first place!

over all the hotel was dirty, the staff were quite bad mannered and not at all willing to help. my boyfriend did NOT get a cheap deal on this holiday, and we were completly and utterly ripped off
i wouldnt reccomend anyone go there ever!

we needed a cheap holiday saw pink palace booked it it looked nice read the reviews and they were bad.

the rooms badly needed painting and it is being refurbished in the winter months.

dont forget you get what you pay for some people forget that not all inclusives are like what you get in somewhere like mexico if you want something like that go to lykia world in olu deniz but its very expensive.

was bits of entertainment music quiz bingo deal or no deal the traditional turkish night.

if you want somewhere where you can get your head down dont mind basic food and all you can drink till 11pm youre ok.

5 mins walk to hisoronu where all the night life is and its brill so go when the bar shuts at the hotel the staff tend to be in the town too so you can get walked home ha ha aloha bar in hisoronu is a fab night you can find them on face book have a nosey for yourself

not good for families as theres nowt for kids to do and not good for people who cant do stairs there are a lot of them.

its quiet at the pink palace so you cant hear the bars or clubs which was good for us and what we wanted.

free bus to beach book at reception or you wont get it but theres a bus stop outside the hotel

there is a smell round the pool sometimes and there can be wasps flying about but you get this when your on the beach at times and its like this at home aswell too ha ha.

owners of hotel had only just took over mid season last year so they were finding their feet they were freindly enough but left you to your own devices which is what i want and dont want mithering every 5 mins to take part in something.

i wouldnt go end of september/october again was very warm in the day but very cold a night but you can get extra blankets etc from reception if you want them.

overall its a bog standard hotel and a real budget holiday would go again if i could see if the rooms had been redecorated thats the only thing what let it down.

views are stunning the beach is great really good eating place in the lagoon bit. you can organise for the free bus to drop you at billys bar in the lagoon so you dont have to pay to get in the lagoon and free sunbeds its right next to the sea.

your holiday is what you make it dont let some of the reviews put you off because i was quite pleasantley surprised.

My boyfriend and I booked this the day before we left, a cheap end of season deal. Reading the reviews before we booked we weren't put off, and you shouldn't be! The hotel was basic, but you get what you need for a base and if you want 5* then pay the price.

Room: Comfy double bed, hot water , tv, hairdryer, FREE air con, fridge, balcony. It was a bit dark in the room, but we only slept in it so no problem there. And the room was cleaned everyday. The staff were very friendly, and always with a smile on their faces. The hotel was quiet, only got woken up by the thunder storm on the last night!

Food: Not knowing what to expect about the food we were very pleasantly surprised. Delicious. A different choice every night. Beef stew, chicken kebabs, BBQ, lamb meet balls etc. All very tasty, and all freshly cooked. Soups - yum! Fresh salads, cous cous, rice, puddings were extra yummy!. There was always plenty of food.

Drink: Beer nice, coke nice, vodka nice, and they don't hold back on the measures. Obviously you can keep going back up to the bar so the people who are moaning about not being allowed more than 2 drinks on the table were just being lazy.

It's situated in a brilliant position, only a 5min walk from the busy town, which is very British (Del boys, Marks and Spengers!). The market was brilliant and made us chuckle so def worth a visit ("cheaper than a shoplifter!" "cheaper than Primark!").

We also tried to walk down to the beach, but there's no path so it was a bit scary at times! Lovely views though that you miss when taking the bus down.

Doubt we'd go back, but only because we'd done everything there was to do (boat trip, jeep safari, walked around the town, down to the beach etc). Loved the hotel. And i hear it's being redone over the winter period so it can only get better!

Tips: The water is hotter in the evening as it's heated up by solar panels during the day. Go on the jeep safari and a boat trip (£6 for the day inc lunch). Take a walk around the non-tourist areas and eat some fruit from the trees on the side of the road. And finally....don't expect much, and you'll be surprised!

hotel unsuitable for families with small children due to the vast amount of steps, most of which are broken. no safety mats around the pool area. during our stay we witnessed numerous guests slipping over. the food was disgusting, it was cold and every meal you had you were joined at the table by a 1000 wasps. if you like cold chips, burgers and chicken every day then this is the place for you. b4 we booked we were lead to believe there was entertainment every night, there wasn't. the all inclusive bar advertised till 12 closed at 11.30 and if you had more than 2 drinks on your table the barman would tell you off. there excuse for everything was it was end of season. we still paid a lot of money and came home feeling very ripped off. we love turkey but would never ever stay at the pink palace again. definately the worst all inclusive we have ever been on. millwall martin.

Having just returned from the pink palace, i thought i would post my honest review of the hotel.

When i booked the holiday for me and my fiance we never got told about the visa into Turkey so we looked like idiots when they wanted a £10 note each, so remember to take a £10 note each.

The hotel room itself was ok and nothing more, basic and very clean.
We got a room facing the back gardens but when we asked to move the staff were very nice and moved us with no problems.

The day times were good only because of the weather and the pool (even though it was minus 1 every day when you got in).

The night times were so boring and the hotel had NO entertainment on at all as it was the end of the season and closed the pool bar.

The food was absoultely disgusing and i am being kind. Chicken was on the menu EVERYDAY and what wasnt used was turned into soup for the next day.

Eating the food was also a problem as they have no in-door area and was very cold at night BUT the day was worse as there were loads of wasps and they constantly attacked you.

All food tasted the same and was re-used. The food was meant to be on until 10pm but there was never any food left by 8.30pm.

We had to eat out every night which cost us around £500 extra as the resort is not cheap.

A holiday is what you make it and we did have a good time on trips and relaxed loads but we hated the hotel.
