“Brilliant value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

We visited the hotel week beginning 30th May 2013.My fiancee and I arrived at the hotel exhausted and were very surprised, yet pleased when, arriving around 0130 in the morning on our first day,we were greeted outside the hotel at the coach by 2 staff members, who made us very welcome and went out of their way to order us in a kebab and provide us with a drink(Charlie & Chocolate).Chocolate took our bags up to our room and showed us the facilities (including safe deposit box for £20 per week). We were very pleased with the room, which was spotlessley clean.Exploring the hotel on our first day,we found all the facilities to be excellent, bar, pool, pool snacks. The food in the hotel restaurant was good too, always a lovely soup, nice main course but I would say they there was not a great choice of dishes and the available food was not so hot in temperature.
The rooms were cleaned to a high standard every day,the maids even making a special effort on one occasion by making the towels into swans and nice shapes with flowers (please leave them a tip as we did).
On out first day,we met Barbara, the Rep.Unlike any previous holidays I’ve been on,when I’ve only seen the Rep on the first day of the holiday then never again,Barbara was around the hotel every day to answer our questions. She loves the hotel,so has her heart in it.She’s a lovely lady.We bought a few of excusions through Barbara (don’t buy them anywhere else),she was very helpful, being honest about the ones to avoid.
We went for a Turkisk bath on the first day, very nice but beware the hard sell after"-you have a problem, you need a course of massages",which we fell for and were condsiderably light in the pocket!!!The massages are nice but felt a bit bullied into having them.
We took a boat trip, however, the sea was rather choppy that day and we did find it a bit tedious,as they could not bay at some of the islands.St Nicholas island, where we docked for 3 hours is very boring-you can pay 8TL (about £3 each) then you can walk up a load of steps to see some monastery ruins...(we didn’t bother). The alternative was ‘explore the island’ but if you have flip flops on it’s not really an option,so we went back to the boat,I jumped off the top deck into the sea, very exhillarating, very COLD!!! (but not for the weak stomached!!!
We booked the Jeep Safari through Barbara (Ra Safari),this was a fantastic day out (even thought I lost my flip flops in the Saklikent Gorge’s fast flowing water-amazing scenery)
The meal on the trip is lovely-I had the BBQ Trout, cooked to perfection-!It’s really great day out and please,DO the rafting! A 4Km row down the slow rapids, not deep water, but mind the rocks on your bum!!!! It’s amazing at a small cost of 30 TL (about £10)(only me and a 10 year old boy dared do it-the rest of the 20 strong party were blooming wimps!)but this was a highlight of the trip...please do it! During the safari trip, there’s an interesting look at the ancient Roman ampitheathre,a salmon falm, where you can tickle the trout fish on the bar if you want (they don’t mind!).Also,a mud bath, where they walk you into a green slimy pond and you smear yourself with mud, supposed to be good for your skin-but it smells like a sewer!!!(I don’t want to put you off the fun, which it is,but 3 days later,we got back to the UK,my fiancee was in hospital with pnuemonia,a viral/bacterial condition).(I am fine but I would suggest that the germs in that sewer mud may be the culprit). The whole day is amazing-the trip in the jeep is a bit mad, fast driving and swerving, designed to make you a bit nervous (please wear your seatbelt-you must consider your insurance clauses if an accident occurred),you will get wet-with cold water, refreshing but expext a “yikes!” experience (it’s only a bit of water!!).
Back to the hotel-pay the extra £5 each (if you’re AI) for the BBQ-unlimited,superb food and great entertainment!
We met some really nice friends and when we left, the staff Chocolate & Sammy saw us off on the coach,,a nice touch.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I hope to return one day.
A very quiet hotel, not much noise after midnight.

Room Tip: A204 was excellent

Booked a week's all inclusive in the Flora Palms as it appeared very good value for money, given it was around 40 quid per person more expensive than the bed and breakfast option.Their first year apparently doing the all inclusive option we later discovered. So that 40 quid per person more than covered several lunches we had and coffees and cokes etc during the day.
There are so many good points this hotel has to offer, firstly location is excellent, extremely quiet but 5 mins from all the hustle and bustle of Hisaranou.
Cleanliness second to none, always some sort of cleaning going on around the establishment, pool etc, and the pool was spotless in itself.
Great rooms, with the best power shower I think we have had in any hotel, excellent cold and very quiet air conditioning, good beds, nice bed linen and towels. Also very good little hair dryer supplied. The only minus in the rooms was the absence of a bedside lamp but this was provided when I asked at reception.
Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful, and always smiling. Chocolate and Charlie strive to make their little bar the best and Charlie is very proud of the fact he knows how to make over 300 cocktails. (He is also a very good entertainer as demonstrated on a karioke night, when he started off the singing and knew every step of these holiday dances that you only see on holiday!) Also a lovely gentleman on reception, the general manager who's name I forget, but was very helpful.
They staged a Turkish night when we were there and this actually proved to be an excellent wee night, with a magician, local folk dancers and the inevitable belly dancer, (who had every man in the hotel on the floor) but all very professional and the food and barbecue was very good. The cook was Taz the owner, a very nice man who was receptive to suggestions on how to improve the concept of all inclusive food and drinks which unfortunately lets this lovely little place down.
First of all the drinks, I'm a white wine drinker and couldn't touch this stuff, awful, and the red was worse. Saw some people drinking rose which apparently was marginally better. Others told me the local gin and tonic was ok and the beer was effes, so fine for the beer drinkers.
The food choices were very limited but the salad was lovely and plenty of it. I had soup a few times and couldn't fault that, but soup and salad soon gets boring.
At breakfast eggs, (boiled, scrambled or fried) or salad was the choice, and a very limited cereal selection and NO TOASTER. As I said earlier the owner TAZ was very receptive to suggestions and on chatting to other guests it seemed that everyone told him he needed a toaster and he had told his guests it was the first thing on his 'improvement agenda'.
So good on him for that.
Hisaranou is a lovely little town and we would return in a heartbeat. We would also only return to this hotel, given its many plus points, and also to see if they got that toaster.

Room Tip: We were in A102 last week in May and it was perfect for us as it was quiet and shaded. Others I know...

We visited the Flora Palm Resort first week in May staying for 7 nights on all inclusive basis. If only we had booked a longer stay....... This was our second time to hisaronu and first time to this complex. On arrival Chocolate, Taz & Charlie were very helpful & accommodating. Luckily for us our request for a ground floor apartment was provided as we had a baby / buggy with us.
Location is excellent, every member of staff were so lovely and accommodating. From my experience the food was lovely and the drinks were great (not watered down like other hotels do). Breakfast was more continental style, lunch and dinner consisted of soup, 4 to 5 hot dishes and a huge range of salads. There was also snacks ( toastie./ burger & chips) served around 3pm and cake at 5pm. Recommend Palm Tree restaurant when you want to try out a restaurant (#1 restaurant in resort and very reasonable). We got a very good deal for this holiday and this holiday exceeded my expectations (personally). We will definitely be returning next year. Special thanks to Chocolate for always being so friendly & helpful & best of luck to the FPR for the remainder of the season

We recently returned from Flora Palm. Firstly I have to say the accommodation was spotlessly clean, the rooms were a good size, and the shower and bathroom were well maintained. All the staff appeared happy, polite and always very accommodating. We were not all inclusive and so cannot really comment on the food, we did eat on a couple of occasions in the evening, plenty of variety with salads. The remainder of the food was Turkish, being in Turkey this could not be a criticism as if you want English food stay in England. The pool area was extremely clean and well kept, the downside was the loud music played every day, nearly all day, therefore if you want a relaxing holiday by the poolside this would not be the place for you. We attended the Turkish night which was overall very good, a few technical problems but this could happen anywhere.

Hisaronu itself is a very vibrant resort, lots of neon lights, bars and clubs. A couple of recommended restaurants would be, the Olive Tree which is right next door, and the Mariners fish restaurant. The weather was excellent and we had a really nice boat trip out across the bay. Flora Palm and Hisaronu is not a place we would choose to stay again given the noise levels, as we prefer to be somewhere more relaxing during the day.

Room Tip: Do not stay in block A if you don't want your room over the bar and restaurant.

Spent a week in May at the Flora Palm and would thoroughly reccomend it. Nothing is too much trouble for the helpful, friendly staff. The hotel is in a good location and is kept very clean. A free bus will take you from reception to the lovely Billys Beach. If you plan a holiday here i say give it a go on the bed and breakfast. The only moans i heard were that the all inclusive food is not so good.

Room Tip: All rooms are good so no need to be fussy.

Booked this only a few weeks beforehand as a cheap all inclusive break and wasn't expecting too much for money paid. However on arrival we found that it was actually very good in all areas. Rooms are good size including bathroom sixe with walk in shower, plenty of wardrobe and hanging space, small balcony overlooking the pool. Rooms are nice compared to most hotels in the area which are all basic regardless of price.

The hotel is constantly being cleaned by the hardworking staff, if it's not the rooms being cleaned its the bar, restaurant, pool area.. it appears that the staff really take pride in their hotel.

Food is very extensive for all meals and you easily end up with a plate twice the size as intended by the time you get to the end of the buffet. We thoroughly enjoyed the food but we always prefer to eat Turkish style meals when in Turkey and would be dissapointe with anything else. If you are expecting english style food, you will be dissapointed, Turkish food is mainly vegatables and salads but accompanied by a couple of fish or MEAT dishes and there was always chips for those wanting them. For anyone not wanting authentic food, afternoon snack provides burger and chips or cheese and ham toatie and chips.

Biggest worry is always the drink available on all inclusive, with experience of watered down drinks in the past. This was definately not the case here with the draft beer entitled very effective and local Gin, vodka, brandy and wines all seeming to be palatable enough with everyone seeming to be pleased with their choice or usual tipple.

Maybe not the best hotel in Hisaronu but I would rate it as possibly the best all Inclusive option.

Room Tip: Block B is modern, overlooks the pool and away from the bar which is a little quieter at night for a...
