“Worth a visit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

We booked this through our cosmos rep on a package that included free transfers, 3 course meal and a choice of a drinks, a visit to the tombs and belly dancing. We have been saying for the past 3 years we wanted to come here and for us it was well worth the wait! Some of the harsh reviews on here have made me laugh- your in turkey you will get Turkish cuisine and if you want the ritz pay for ritz prices!! Based on how much you pay and what you get it's well worth it in my eyes!the views are amazing the tomb is amazing and the sunset fantastic!! The restaraunt does have a photographer who's harmless bless him and photos are 10 tl each. Ladies if you want to see the tomb don't wear heals and wear some safe shoes so probably not flip flops. There are around 90 steps so not good for the less able. The belly dancing is hilarious everyone in our group got involved which added to the atmosphere! Well worth a visit!!!

“Bad food and no air con!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013 via mobile

Went for sun set meal here booked through our rep for £25 each. Rip off as food was disgusting! Starter was a plate of little bowls of unrecognisable stuff... Olives were the only thing I could recognise and the rest were horrible! The main course selection was tiny and the service was terrible. Food took ages to come. Apple pie was disgusting as well. View is amazing and so are tombs so we recommend getting a bus for a few lire to view the to be and avoid the restaurant!

“Perfect for our last night”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

My boyfriend and I had been interested in the rock tombs and found this little gem of a restaurant on the way. We stopped for a drink after climbing the stairs to the tombs and after a short time decided we would return for our last night. When we arrived (without a booking) we were offered a table close to the edge where you could look out over the lovely scenery. We ordered our food and drinks and they soon arrived- along with a belly dancer performing at the front of the restaurant while we ate. We both got dragged up to participate in the dancing which we found highly entertaining and very funny. The food was not exceptional but there was nothing to complain about. The atmosphere was friendly and warm, every table seemed to be enjoying their evening. The staff were very friendly, we stayed until they were clearing away talking to them. The service was quick and polite and we were very pleased with ourselves for making such a good choice to celebrate our last night.

“Beautiful restaurant set in the Turkish mountains”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

My partner and I decided to visit this restaurant after it had been recommended to us by a friend. We were picked up promptly and taken to the restaurant, initially it was not what we expected but once we walked inside we were overwhelmed by the beautiful views over Fethiye.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food itself was delicious, my steak was cooked to perfection. We were even too full to contemplate dessert which is always a good sign of a good dinner.

We were taken back to our apartment after having a wonderful evening in a beautiful location. This restaurant is not cheap but nevertheless it is definitely worth the money. There is also the opportunity to have your photo taken which we thought was a lovely touch as you can then keep these photos as a souvenir.

“Great Food in a Beautiful Setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

Book in advance and you will be picked up from your hotel or apartments - 252 612 41 35. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting high above the town of Fethiye and nestling below the Amythas Lycean Rock Tombs. The view over Fethiye is breath taking, so remember your camera. You can have a pre set meal or order a'la carte both of which are delicious and great value. There is NO rush despite the restaurant always being busy in the evening. After your starter, you have time if you wish to climb up to the rock tomb which is a superb place to take photos BUT it is a hefty climb but well worth it. The quality and presentation of the food at the Kings Garden is fantastic and the service is second to none. Sometimes they have a belly dancer, which is very entertaining but from the slimness of the girl, she obviously doesn't eat at the Kings Garden OR anywhere else for that matter (I'm just jealous!). You can go to the restaurant for lunch but I much prefer the evening's there because you can capture the beautiful sun set and enjoy the ambiance of the setting. Despite being busy the restaurant is suitable for a romantic dinner as well as any other type of celebration. The cost will also amaze you, it is very reasonably priced particularly when you see the quality of the food. You will not be disappointed with your visit to The King's Garden and at the end of the evening, you will be driven back to your hotel or apartment, so you can enjoy a few drinks. Transport to the restaurant is free but do tip the driver . ENJOY
