It's got a great location and the bedroom itself is a cheery yellow and blue mix. My only gripe is that the bathroom (accurate photo from previous reviewer) doesn't have a shower curtain so you ended up soaking the whole bathroom. We also had slightly sporadic hot water which the management did their best to fix. In the Rough Guide, it says the management is friendly and in the LP, grumpy but that's because there is one of each! The friendly guy is super super nice! If you want to go to Ani, Celil (mentioned in both guidebooks) comes by the hotel at 7.30pm in the evening to see if you want to go. The rate seems to be 80TL for 2 or 30TL each if there is 4 of you. We took a guy named Zeki who we met when we got off the bus - he did a great price of 60TL for a private taxi for the 2 of us. His number is [--] but no English unfortunately. You could just say Ani Hotel Temel, yarin (tomorrow) altmish lira (60 lira) saat dokuz (9am). Both drivers give you 3 hours there at the site.
