I have stayed at this lovely hotel with my friend on the second week of July, 2013 for 5 days. Since I am an experienced traveler, I have taken a call before my arrival to get my room ready on c-in and to ask for availability for any upgrade sea-view room. The answer just made my day since all the rooms have sea view, which is pretty guest friendly.
Location: The hotel is located at the end of Ilıca Beach, just a minute later than Cesme Sheraton Resort & Beach. My highly recommendation is to take your car with you or rent a car, because taxi fees are pretty high if you are planning travelling every day, of course. They took 30 TL for 10 min. fare. And minibuses are just passing by the hour in front of the hotel. To take into consideration that most popular venues in Aya Yorgi, Alacati and Çeşme centre, are away from Ilıca, taxis become a burden. And minibuses make you exhausted.
Rooms: as said above, all the rooms have pure sea view no partial. We have stayed in standard rooms, but I just totally envied the bungalow rooms which are just above the sea and have its sunbed. The names of these rooms are Ashk Meshk - but not sure. All the rooms has its balcony and in every evening you can enjoy sunset. If you are not cleaning addict, housekeeping service are ok. A standard room has LCD tv, minibar, a/c and bathtub.
Sea & pools: The sea has every ton of blue just like Maldive sea. Cesme sea is little cold - better to be in there btw june-august, but you get used at once. The beach is a bit windy it is good while sunbathing - you don't notice the temperature. There are 2 pools in a good size, one is salty - in fact the sea is so beautiful that i didn't use the pools,
Breakfast: just wonderful, has an enough variety and delicious. And snacks on beach is tasty and fair price.
Staffs: are so friendly and young. so obvious most of them are trainee but trying to do their best. By the way not sure about their english levels
All in all, it is totally worth the price you give - don’t expect 5 star service if you don't give that much. I think if shareholders go over the hotel, it has the potential to be resort or 5 star hotel. just overlook the little things - you are on vacation! and enjoy the great Cesme and Ceshme Plus
