We have been to Turkey now 3 times and this was curtainly the worst place we have been, the resort has a Benidorm feel and the shops are more money grabbing and ruthless than any resort we have been to before, it lacks charm and is quite tacky, having been to Turkey before were aware of the bartering and hassel which takes place but not for the rudeness of some of the shop/stall holders, the place is a spralling mass which has none of the character of the previous resorts visited (Ichmeler & Olu Deniz), there are also lots of stray dogs that roam around the resort and seafront, and although not agressive follow you if you walk anywhere, and are very hard to shake off. There are far too many bars and restaurants for the amount of people that visit which amounts to only a few people in each or none in some which creates little or no atmosphere, unless you like sweaty bare chested Turkish boys dancing to rave music in a suggestive fashion, or like just premiershipe football/sky. It does however have a nice beach and the impressive Apollon Temple which are both well worth a visit, and a little gem of a restaurant called 'Moonlight' down a side street which served excellent food at good prices in a relaxed environment. all in all if your in your 20's it might be your thing! but if 40 & over give it a miss as there are some far better resorts that do Turkey far more justice, Turkey is a beautiful country with some wonderful places to visit, but if this had of been our first visit would have been put off ever returning
