Just returned from Turkey today but had a fab holiday, hotel fantastic clean friendly staff brill and the food good to.
Will definately go back, Boris comical and so friendly he's got to be the best entertainment in Turkey and Mickey nice as well.

Spent 2 weeks here and to be honest on first impression wasnt very impressed but once we settled in was fine.
Cleaning staff came in regular and the towels and sheets were clean.
My biggest complaint along with the rest of the guests was the lack of hot water. For 11 days we had virtually no hot water it alternated between tepid and freeezing. This was despite everyone complaining daily to management and our reps. Finally on day 12 we got hot water at night only but having had none this was welcome.
The staff were very friendly and work hard, the bar staff had a problem accepting that despite us eating lunch there regular we wouldnt eat in their restaurant every evening but i think the NO word finally got through.
For the past 9 years we have travelled all over Turkey and loved them all and we enjoyed Altinkum but we have finally had enough of the constant hassle, it is relentless wether its a shop bar or restaurant. The turks are spoiling what is a great country.
Apart from the hot water issue i would recommend this hotel.

Basic hotel but clean and fine for the money we paid.
No real complaints apart from shower it was pretty awful. Not going to let that spoil my holiday , everything else was fine, food lovely in and out of hotel, beer cheap all over , however if the wife wants a malibu or vodka then its expensive, £3.50
Staff very friendly, rooms smallish but adequete, maids always on the go . pool clean , no shallow end 6ft deep all round.
Enjoyed our stay, as i say it was basic and clean if you want 5 star treatment etc dont go here, if you want a place to put the head down with no frills then go for it, i would definetly stay here again.

Have not long been back from my first visit to Altinkum Turkey and I have to say the place is fabulous, the resort is gorgous and has plenty of nightlife to choose from ranging from quiet family bars, small clubs to huge open air nightclubs that stay open till 5am. The hotel was basic but catered for our every need, the rooms have everything you need and most have a fantastic pool view which might I add is the best pool around for a simple bed and breakfast hotel. The rooms are cleaned every day by the friendly maids and anything extra you want e.g towels, bedding just ask and they will give. The hotel has its own two restaurants, one for breakfast eating and the other for evening meals but they will allow you to go in at any time of the day to cool down as it has a very good air conditioning unit! the food is lovely and the lunchtime and evening menus are very extensive and cater for all needs. There is a bar near the pool which will provide you with non stop refreshment from morning till late so basically they shut when you have had enough and are falling from your stool!!! The staff at the meyem ana are superb they are so friendly and cannot do enough to help you and make you feel thay they are you friends for the week or two that you are there, they remember evrybody's name and what drinks and food you like they really do make such an effort to make you feel welcome and enjoy your time in Altinkum. All I can say is that I will definately be returning to this resort and hotel in the near future and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did. Pay a visit to Billy and Lees happy hour bar to the left of dolphin square, lee is the BEST manager and will do anything for you.
