This was a perfect lesson in not judging a book by it's cover. It's a little bit old, and a bit tacky. So if you want luxury and all the mod cons, don't bother! However if you want clean value for money accommodation with the most friendly hosts and plentiful tasty home cooking this is for you.

The location of this hotel was really good, about 5 minutes walk to the entrance to the travertines at Pamukkale and the pool when we arrived was very welcome. Meals were good, if a little expensive. They sell wine made locally in Pamukkale. Great cooking tips from Adam's wife.
The room, a triple, was very clean and steps up to the roof just outside the door meant that doing a bit of washing was very easy. Only real downside was not being able to pay on a card... cash only. Very good budget place to stay, but maybe eat elsewhere if you are watching the pennies

Very helpful, friendly staff. Provided us with info and book for visting the sights.

Meal was a bit pricier than similar establishments, but still a decent price and was larger than we had elsewhere. Breakfast good, and even included omlette, which we didn´t have elsewhere in Turkey, even in 3 star hotel.

Room was clean and reasonable sized.

Location very close to bus offices, shops and short walk from the Travertines and Hieranopolis. We set up at about 6pm, and made it back by 9.15pm, where we cleaned up and had our dinner in the pansion. The staff were very helpful about this.

The Dolmus from Denzili will drop off right outside the pansion.

Not related to the hotel, but a useful tip... Book the bus to Selcuk as soon as you can, as we booked after 9pm and got the last 2 places available for the next day bus (in late August).

Only bad point is no bedside tables at all, and one side of bed was against wall. The other side could use an armchair arm as a sort of bedside table, but not ideal!

No noise issues, and didnt use pool as short on time, but looked very inviting!

We left the hotel feeling very happy, and with lots of nice things for our bus trip. Thank you!

Rooms are basic but well kept. The hosts were very interested in making our stay comfortable. The breakfast was better than what most of the other Turkey hotels offer. Also the home cooked dinner by the hostess was very good - although a bit pricey by Pamukkale standards. There is a small swimming pool for those who are interested. The hotel is located close to Pamukkale attractions and restaurants/ tour agencies etc. The surrounding houses giving you a feel of being in a village rather than in a touristy hotel.

Room Tip: Take ground floor rooms if you are interested in using swimming pool.

Great wi-fi connection. The pillows and mattress were too hard for our liking. The owners provided our veggie meals, which were tasty, if repetitive. We don’t purport to be experts in Turkish communication but to our UK sensibilities, we found one of the owners was very pleasant one moment and then seemingly stressed and harder to relate to another, and sometimes bossy with his staff and other guests. Be prepared to be told off like a naughty child if you get some information wrong or open a window in the restaurant without asking. Neither was he very pleasant with a couple who walked in off the street asking if there were any dorms as mentioned in a travel guide, telling them about 10 times he didn’t have this kind of room, just because they were surprised. It was completely unnecessary. Anyone deserves a second chance but we saw this demeanour a number of times over two days. This will need to be factored in with other reviews as always – we can only comment on what we see at the time – and these could be cultural differences that we haven’t understood. Our stay was otherwise very pleasant. Our room, No.4, was a double. One side of the double bed was against the wall. There was a lot of storage space and effective A/C. The shower room was more like a wet room with a shower tray but no shower curtain/door. The lighting was drab but this is true of hotels everywhere these days with eco bulbs. Sockets are strangely very high up – about 1.5m. Very clean. Pool. The owners kindly let us wash in the sink and hang washing on the roof terrace line. Most people stay in Pamukkale for a night or two and this room and hotel is perfectly adequate for anyone seeking short-stay budget accommodation.

I have to admit, A/C worked, staff was friendly, food was good and room was clean. Problem is that pension is literaly at 50 centimeter from one of the main roads.

Heavy traffic and impossible noise all night long local guys challenging their trucks and scooters.

I spent there 2 nights and I am still broken due to those nights. Friendly staff and good food cannot balance that noise. DON'T GO THERE IF YOU INTEND TO SLEEP AT NIGHT!

By the way, they claim to be the best hotel in town which is wierd since we din't have even tv in our room...

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. We arrived at about 9 AM, and the host who greeted us led us straight to our room, having no problems whatsoever with our early arrival. He immediately sat us down to an excellent Turkish breakfast, and then anticipated our need to get some rest after our super-early flight.

He was invaluable in referring us to an excellent paragliding instructor for the same day, and for arranging for the cheapest possible transport back to the Denizli airport early the next morning.

Probably the best part, though, was the dinner. After a beautiful, hot, busy day around Pamukkale, we came back to a table that was already set for us. He immediately seated us and began bringing out one course after another of delicious Turkish cuisine.

We only wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to come back soon.
