On my first trip to Cappadocia in late June I had the opportunity to spend three nights at Temenni Evi with my girlfriend and a male friend from the US. We were greeted by the owners, Saadettin and his wife, and immediatly felt like part of their family. The perfect location of the hotel at the highest point of the village provides fascinating views of the village and the surrounding rock formations.
The rooms, nicely and tastefully decorated with art and handcrafted items, and complemented by spacious bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs, provided the atmosphere of sleeping in a cave or in a castle.
Also remarkable, since not necessarily the norm in Turkey, was the absolute cleanliness everywhere in the hotel.
We tried and very much enjoyed the freshly prepared 4-course dinners at the hotel, featuring the finest of Turkish cuisine.
The hotel also organized and coordinated side trips, such as a balloon ride and guided tours for us.
With their superb service and care for their guests, Saddettin and his family helped to make our stay a highly memorable experience.
The hotel rates are not the lowest in the area, but we got what we payed for. We are very much looking forward to come back to Temenni Evi.
