“Run of the Mill 4 Star Hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

My travel agent in Urgup said hes booking me for 3 nights at Urgup's best 5 star property. Perissia at most is a 4 star property. The property survives on groups of tourists who are herded to their 1st level dining room where a cattle-class buffet is served daily. I realized that they have the identical menu daily because groups dont usually stay here more than a night. There is jostling and pushing in food queues in this all-inclusive Hotel property. The rooms are dimly lit and depressing. The shower pressure is abysmal. The renovated wing has comfortable beds but the older wing has 2 star rooms! The Turkish towels in the bathroom were wornout & gray & frayed. I would never stay here again.

We were in February visiting the wonderful Cappadocia, the rooms are very comfortable, big and so clean, the restaurant, with a good menu, the swimming pool after the day out is so nice, in general we spent a very nice time, only the service they don’t speak to much English and they are not helpful, in general the people don’t give a warm welcoming with a smile to the visitors.
About the location is a little far from anything, if you want to go out for a dinner or a downtown walk you will walk for a while until find something.

This was a nice hotel. Good sized rooms , comfortable beds & pillows. The food was only average & people were crammed into the dining room 7 there was a lot of joustling for the buffet. It was good to view the hot air balloons, early in the morning, from the swimming pool area. Cappadocia is a fascinating area to explore.

We stopped a a number of hotels on our tour of Turkey, so they were becoming a bit of a blur but this one was good. Good service, room clean and comfortable, meals standard tourist group buffet but better than many. No complaints.

We stayed for 2 nights with 2 dinner buffet meal I must say that this is the good hotel, clean and spaciousl. However if I will go back and revisited Capadoccia we will choose to stay in the cave hostel or hotel in town.

We stayed for 2 nights (3 and 4 April) as a group tour, I must say that this is the best hotel.
Clean and spacious room with basic toiletries ( cotton pads/soap/shower cap), no toothbrush and toothpaste though !
We used the Turkish Baths/Massage in the hotel (package 2), quite expensive but worth a try (especially when a couple can enjoy their privacy...), very relaxing especially after 6 days on the road...

You might want to open the windows because the central heating is ON whether you like it or not... and remember to close the windows if you don't want to be woken up the CALLING at 5am ???

Room Tip: higher floors.... You might want to open the windows because the central heating is ON whether you...

Pro: Large spacious clean modern rooms with free wifi. Far enough away from local mosques so not disturb sleep. View from window pleasant, watched the early morning hot air balloons pass by. Buffet meals were varied and plentiful, quality was average/ adequate.

Yes..... it caters for tour groups, so if you do not like large numbers early morning or evening in the hotel/restaurant then avoid.........

Small store outside, across the road, for reasonably priced beers, drinks, sweets etc. Hotel and minibar prices are outrageous.

Cons: limited TV channels
