“Cappadocia Tour guide Fatih Ayas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

My husband and I spent two awesome days touring Cappadocia with Fatih Ayas and his driver, Ahmet. Fatif runs a full service tour guide company and is a local Cappadocian. We could not have been more pleased. Fatih is incredibly knowledgeable of the history and cultures of the region. He created a personalized tour, which included showing us all the important sights and a few lesser-known yet significant ones. We saw the beginnings of Christianity’s churches and villages that have maintained their old customs next to the underground cities of the Hittite civilization. Fatih told us stories with heart, with an appreciation of the archeology and the geology and generously shared his knowledge. He took us to his uncle's personally restored and decorated restaurant for traditional Turkish cooking, to a ceramics factory where we also heard the Turkish guitar played by the owner, and to a restaurant where everything is grown and prepared from local produce.

As Fatih got to know us, and that we like to immerse ourselves in the area we are visiting, he further individualized our tour. On our drives and over lunch, Fatif answered our many questions about Turkey; it's people, cultures and religions with integrity, truth and appreciation for differences. He is extremely easy to talk with and a great listener. Throughout it all, he demonstrated warm hospitality. In addition to the tour, Fatih picked us up and returned us to the airport, connected us to a reputable hot air balloon company, and brought us to a whirling dervish performance. He went out of his way to make our trip to Cappadocia exceptionally memorable and complete. He is well educated and loves his country. He is an artist of the tour. We have done many personalized tours in different countries and this was tops.

“Okey Dokey Cappadokey”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2013

This title is a tribute to our wonderful guide Suat. We booked Euphrates for its ratings on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. Everything was seamless. Suat wanted to make sure we saw and learned about this wonderful region of the world. We climbed down five levels into the Underground City, We learned about the composition of the land and the amazing fairy chimneys. We saw amazing frescoes. There were beautiful valleys and ruins and incredible mosaic floors at the Sobessos archaelogical site. We ate some good Turkish food. There was also the incredible Goreme Open Air Museum. Cappadocia is a marvel and should not be missed! We highly recommend that Euphrates Tours shows you its splendors.

“Turkey by Euphrates Tours”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2013

Our tour with Euphrates Tours, was organized through Stonetown Travel in St. Marys, Ontario, Canada. The whole experience from the initial request for itinerary to the completed tour was very cooperative and responsiive to our interests and needs. We had three days of tour in Istanbul and 3 in Cappadocia. Our guide in Istanbul, Suleyman Tirasoglu was excellent. He is very knowledgeable and personable and provided us with a very iinteresting and informative experience of Istanbul. We happened to be there during a 4 day religious festival, and certain sites were closed, such as the Grand Bazaar, the Spice Market. Suleyman made up for this by introducing us to other sites that we might not have seen.

Euphrates booked our flights to Cappadocia, where we were greeted by Ramazan Kacar, our guide and Samih, our driver. They are a very dynamic, friendly combination. Samih is an excellent driver, and in Cappadocia, we did a lot of driving. Ramazan took us through the incredible countryside of Cappadocia, with wonderful walks and views. As we were not wishing to take a balloon ride, he took us to a vantage point where we could see the terrain that the balloonns often fly over. There were four of us in our group, and the 2 men are tall. We are seniors and we were concerned about the underground cities, and the headroom. Ramazan took uis to a less visited underground city, where men well over 6 feet tall could stand erect. It was great to be able to do this.

We stayed in the town of Goreme, which is a great location because you can walk around the town at night and out for dinner without a cab. The Goreme Inn Hotel is terrific, and new. Cappadocia is really worth the trip from Istanbul.

“Perfect two days!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

With the help of an excellent limo driver and our outstanding guide TURAN KIRAC we saw so much and learned alot, too!
I had a mobility issue arise during my October 2013 trip to Europe/Asia and Turan and Euphrates did everything possible to accommodate my needs and interests and at the same time find interesting activities for my much more mobile traveling girlfriend.
We saw so many different sights in this amazing locale and our guide, Turan, was extremely knowledgeable, understanding, intuitive and interesting!
Would recommend EUPHRATES to everyone!
Our night in the Gamirasu Cave Hotel was also incredible!

“Amazing tour of Ephesus. Excellent guide!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

We are a young couple who arranged a tour through Euphrates, and had a fantastic time. We were so happy with our tour guide Gül Demir, who had so much historical and general knowledge to share, we could ask her any question big or small. We spent a wonderful 2 days with her exploring the ruins of Ephesus, visiting major bibilical sites and the natural springs of Pammukale. We would so thoroughly recommend Euphrates tours and especially Gül as a guide while spending time in Turkey.
