“Absolutely delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

We enjoyed an amazing meal at Sira with excellent service from Filiz. She helped with suggestions and every single dish we ordered was fantastic. The wine and the view only added to the dinner. The grilled bread with a dipping combo of olive oil and minced nuts with spices was very tasty. The homemadeTurkish ravioli was fresh and delicious, as was the eggplant salad, veal kabob and grilled vegetables with a basil and olive oil pesto (but no nuts). A dessert of figs stuffed with nuts and marinated in grape syrup, topped with cream fraiche was superb. I highly recommend having dinner here at least one night during your stay in the Cappadocia/Goreme/Urgup region.

“very good organic food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

We spent a great dinner there. the food was very good and fresh. Everything comes from local organic producers. The recipes are very good. And they speak more spanih than english, because the owner studied spanish philosophy in south America.

The food was excellent, the atmosphere quaint, and the view (especially with the balloons) is delightful.

“Go for the wine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

The owner of the Sira did his wine training in Italy and takes his wines very seriously. We came upon a wine tasting in the bar our first afternoon in Uchisar and had a chance to really try out and learn about different Turkish grapes and wines. We decided to come back for dinner. On a quiet evening in late October there was no need for a reservation, but the service was quietly attentive, the food was fresh and not fussy - again an Italian influence on good ingredients simply prepared - and the wine - an Okuzgozu and Malbec blend - the best of our trip.
