“OK with your own transport”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

If you have your own transport, then its not a problem to stay in this hotel. It is nice and clean. East sided looking rooms have no some great panorama, but you will survive for a short stay. Hospitality ok, stuff will try to meet your needs.

The room is moderate with complete amenities. A very busy hotel with lots of guest and tour groups. Long queue for dinner. They served a very complete lots of delicious things to choose for the dinner and breakfast buffet. Recommended to try.

Some way off the main attractions of Cappadoccia so you need transport. The room was large and clean but the key and locks to get in were an endless problem.
The food was OK but nothing very interesting and the breads were often dry. Boiled eggs come in 3 minute and 5 minute but were either seriously undercooked or rock hard and grey.
Evening meal you had to purchase tea and coffee at 3 euros a cup and it tended to be cold. There was a payment of 5 euros everytime you used the indoor pool ( winter so rather cold to use the outdoor pool ) These sort of items are usually included in resort hotels and a request for a glass of hot water to take some medicine with also resulted in a 3 euro charge !!
There is a lot of noise from the dozens of coaches using the hotel each day and the early morning mini buses for the balloon trips
There is a nice log fire in one corner of the bar with 4 chairs but everyone else has to freeze

Room Tip: The newer 6 story block seems to have bigger rooms

my trip was quite lucky because we went under a travel agent so everything was provided including accomodation and transport. the room is very neat and nice, beautiful design, varies tv channel but mostly in turkish language. the foods also great, many choices. good lounges, has wifi but it is quite restricted to nearest rooms only. the staff is polite. a good choice if you do have transport. extra point for dinler, we went the during winter. so the surrounding was really awesome.

Not located close to anything but with that said, the hotel was clean, basic, food was good although drinks expensive. Ask the desk about hot air ballooning - a definite must if visiting Cappadocia. Gift shop behind the front desk offered good items, beautiful lamps and bags

The hotel is in a quite isolated area outside the town so you need to get a cab if you wanto to go out in the evening. The rooms are ok but the bathroom is really tiny and not very confortable. The food was ok, nothing special. There is a pool but I did not have a chance to use it. Overall, I would not reccommend it

Reception staff was polite and helpful although there was difficulty conversing in English. When I encountered problem with my wifi connection, the reception girl helped me by connecting to the staff wifi.

The wifi was really poor and the signal was good around the bar, the souvenir and reception areas only. The wifi signal was absent in the dining room (except near the entrance) and in the rooms. I was staying on 2nd level and there was a wifi router just outside my room so maybe it was due to a technical problem.

Meals were served buffet style and of a very good quality. Everybody loved the egg station because the chef cooked very good sunny side up eggs. I am very sure he was capable of more except that we can't speak Turkish. Unfortunately there was one morning when he was the only staff in the restaurant. So he was handling cooking, packaging food, cutting salad & fruits all by himself and using the same pair of gloves.

Property facilities are very well-maintained and there was a very nice swimming pool. The rooms are adequate although fairly small. The bathroom was nicely done but a bit small. The only grouse was the shower which was small & guest with limited mobility may have difficulty. I loved the toiletries provided. The only problem I encountered was the door knob which was a bit unorthodox - you got to turn the key and then pull and push the knob.

Overall it is a good hotel to stay as base for Capadoccia.
