“Great place, gorgeous room...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2014

The hotel has only recently changed hands and is now called the. Kayahan Cave Hotel. This was confusing when I was booking. The hotel is just gorgeous, a little threadbare but that is part of its charm. Turkish rugs and adornments create a gorgeous atmosphere. We stayed in a stone room which was snug and cosy. The roof is arched and nooks are carved into the wall. The view from the rooftop is sensational over the townsite- fairy chimneys and the valley. In the morning if you get up at dawn and walk up the hill you can watch the balloons take off. Just gorgeous.

Room Tip: The best views are from the rooms at the front.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2014

OK, so this review is VERY late in coming (a few years) but our stay at the Pasha Han Hotel was excellent from beginning to end. Our host, Sergio is/was wonderful. My three children took to him immediately, my youngest helped Sergio wash his car....
The hotel itself was painstakingly restored by Sergio. You are sleeping IN A CAVE. We had a very large family suite which accommodated 5 of us easily (with the help of a few extra beds). The room was huge. As enjoyable as the room was, our morning breakfast, on the roof, with Sergio serving us, was superb. He is a wealth of knowledge and an amiable guide, if you need one, of the area. The location of the hotel is in walking distance to 'town' (if you can even call it a 'town'), but you get the idea, close to other restaurants and little souvenir shops and plenty of travel agencies and day trip opportunities abound. By the way, as with most of Turkey, Sergio is entwined with a rug shop, I believe it is his father's. We did arrange for a hot air balloon ride before we arrived in Turkey and to be honest, it truly was an incredibly, magical experience for all of us. We are 2 adults, and our kids were 7, 9,and 10. I am going to attach a few pictures in hopes it will jog Sergio's memory. My kids still ask me 'when are we going back..'.
