“Great location and wonderful staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

I visited Ottoman cave suites with a group of 11 people and over the course of several days the staff was wonderfully helpful in setting up tours and events and taking care of our needs. The rooms are very nice with plenty of space, heated floors, and the location is right near several good restaurants and a great turkish bath. Our stay also included a very nice breakfast prepared every morning.

My husband and I spent two nights in this magnificent setting. Travertine everywhere, inside and outside. When you walk in, it looks like a beautiful castle. We were greeted immediately even though it was very early in the morning. We took the all night bus and really needed a shower. Our room was not ready but we were able to shower and change in one of the other rooms. The rooms are designed to look like a cave, and they do. There is a slight odor which is easy to get used to. The bathrooms are spectacular. VERY large shower with everything you need. Breakfast was very good including an omelet if you requested one. Close to city center and shops, buses, restaurants. Absolutely wonderful staff and service.

Room Tip: All the rooms are beautiful. Five new rooms on the third floor were being built while we were there...

We had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at the Ottoman Cave Suites in April 2013. We spent almost a month traveling in Turkey, and this was our best accommodation choice. Nice location (so close to town centre), fantastic bathroom (really fantastic), and what really set it over the top was the service. Asked for toast one morning, they did not have a toaster but one was there the next day. I was under the weather and the staff ran to town for much needed medication. Friendly service, ultra clean facilities, amazing experience (to sleep in a cave). I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Design of the rooms is absolutly amazing! Was also provided with a breakfast before check-in, which was a very pleasant surprise! Staff very friendly and helpful. Located within 5 min walk from the town center, which is very convinient. Though rooms could be a little cold, which however relates to all cave hotels ( as discussed with other travellers).
Highly recommend!

The first thing we have found pleasant in this hotel was it's friendly environment, when we arrived Mr. Cengiz offered us a breakfast befor check in. The second thing was the surprize which was waiting for the guests! the cave room! a combination of capadocian history and modern fasilities! every body has to experience it once in they're life! After check in Mr. Cengiz suggested a wonderful program to us to enjoy our time at capadocia depending how much we can walk, he just did it as a friend and it was so helpful. We also enjoyed a very wonderful balloon experience the following day which he had suggested. The warm and romantic nights which we had experienced at our cave will never be forgotten. Thanks to Mr. Cengiz and the others which helped him there.

Room Tip: room 203 which we stayed at had a unique design.

We were a bit suspicious about booking a cave room as we were afraid of having to live like cave men :) but the hotel was too good to be true. The room we stayed in (203) was huge and the bathroom was just amazing, it was bigger than many hotel rooms I've stayed in, and it had floor heating which was so nice, as nights were a little chilly in April. The manager was always there to help us with even the smallest request we had. Their breakfast buffet was also one of the best we had in Turkey. We were so sad to leave the hotel, and I'm certainly planning on visiting again and staying there again in the future.

I very much agree with the review of Lisa_in_the _city. Very detailed and right on the spot. I travel a lot for work and stayed pretty much at every big brand. But this is not what you get and not what you want in Cappadocia.

At Ottoman Cave Suits we felt as if they were waiting for us and knew us and really wanted to make our stay a comfortable and memorable one. Thank you very much! We had a great time!
