“Amazing blend of nature and human ingenuity!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

We visited Cappadocia on June 12-14, and was amazed by its beauty. The views and valley hikes are breathtaking. Make sure to bring plenty of water, and dress comfortably for the hikes. Also, if hiking or biking with a group, consider bringing some food and have a picnic in one of the valleys or caves!

“Bright blue skies”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

It was hot, sunny, and a first. A history to be only experienced in Turkey. One has to stand and ltouch the structures and be amazed and civilization lived like this.

“A Must See!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

It does not matter whether or not you like geology or interesting landscapes, Goreme/Kapadokya in general will BLOW YOUR MIND! Great for people of all ages, however, it is walking-intensive and Turkey is not the best when it comes to amenities for the disabled (i.e. ramps) and those with limited mobility (senior citizens).

One must also be careful and note that a lot of the park is essentially dust- and dirt-covered rock. My first time in Goreme, I slipped and fell hard, almost breaking my camera and iPhone and then an old man from Brazil fell behind me as I was getting up and recovering.

The landscape is just so unique, you will be entranced so just make sure to stay safe and stay hydrated.

The rocks and the history are very interesting and the view breathtaking. The best thing is to have a great guide!

“A natural wonder”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

Don't miss this open air museum becasue it is the perfect first impact with Cappadocia and its fairies. Nevertheless, close to the museum there are a lot of good-in-shape paths that take to the valleys like the Valley of the Roses.
