“Unique Stay at Authentic Cave Rooms!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

The Cappadocia Cave Suites were beautiful restored cave rooms truly worth a stay if you are headed towards Goreme. Each Fairy Chimney Room was unique in character so do take your time to choose the right one to your taste. Service was of a high standard, very responsive and staff were prompt to help with good initiative. Location was excellent as it was located up a short slope, just opposite the town centre where you can find restaurants as well as tour companies (try restaurant Nostagia which is located just opposite the cave suites!). Some of the lights and the wifi in our room weren't working but we didn't raise that up as it was a minor issue.

Our only feedback to improve was that the breakfast selection was more limited or rather the usual from our higher expectations, but the omelette and fresh fruit were good.

Room Tip: Ask for the actual cave rooms - they are extraordinary!

My wife and I stayed in this luxury yet quaint hotel in June 2013, the room was amazing, the staff where outstanding, the views where incredible, the food was delicious - the over all experience was magical and it surpassed our expectations - we wish we could have stayed longer

Thanks again from the Canadians, Bob and Denise

Room Tip: I think you'll be happy with any room although the upper cave rooms offer a better view

We had a great time. Yes the prayers on the loudspeakers in the town are different but you can hear them wherever. Ditto those peacocks. But we use to get up early and you had a great view across the valley to the hot air balloons that filled the sky.

Japanese tour group a little OTT re cameras and the like but they left as quickly as they came.

A worthwhile and unique experience.

Room Tip: Make sure you get one with a view preferably not next to the restaurant.

Stay in a cave suite if you can - it's an unforgettable experience! The hotel really made an effort to present you with an authentic experience. Our suite was decorated with a handmade bed throw and pillows, had antiques scattered throughout, yet had a modern flat-screen TV. The kitchenette comes with a great choice of teas and complimentary water.
Location is excellent with just a short walk to the main street of the village with cozy restaurants. At sunrise, you can watch balloons hovering in the sky. There is patio furniture scattered throught the grounds so you can enjoy the view and the courtyard drowning in roses of all colours.
Great buffet with a cave-medieval castle feel. Or secure one of the few tables on the terrace.
Would recommend to anyone travelling to this beautiful region

Room Tip: Stay in a cave sweet - an amazing experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! our room was very cute and although we were only two of us we were given an extra small room attached to it!. our Bathroom had a Jacuzzi which was fantastic. It was really easy to book tours with the hotel. they had given us three choices, red tour blue tour or green tour and it was very well organized. Breakfast was also excellent. I would definitely recommend it!! The hotel was also situated right behind restaurants and cafes so it was very convenient.

We stayed in a clean, beautiful and spacious room, with a great shower. Views from the balconies and patios are superb. BUT every morning at 4:20 the muezzin woke us up: close and LOUD. Then five minutes later, like a snooze alarm, another muezzin re-woke us. (Note: the rest of the day, these two muezzin were in synch, one voice overlaying the other. I swear they really were acting together as a wake-up call and a snooze reminder).

Of course, the muezzin woke up the animals: especially the peacock who lives on the roof next door. Why there's a male peacock in full tail regalia next to the Goreme Cave Suites I can't begin to imagine, but he has a heck of a voice.

Finally--and strangest of all--came the screeches over our head, like someone was dragging a cart over a wooden floor. This is particularly strange since we were on the top floor with nothing above us.

There's no air conditioning and the windows aren't soundproof.

So you might want to time your visits to months when the sun doesn't rise before you want to wake up.

Room Tip: The rooms vary dramatically. Be sure to check that you are getting what you want in terms of size a...

Dear our guest,
Very early morning call to prayers is heard by everyone in the town of Göreme not just our hotel but EVERYONE.
To lower our hotels evaluations to 4 out of 5 should be illogical in any fair evaluation.
And the loud calls of a peacock on occasion (we do not own this bird) should not effect our hotels evaluation either it is simply not fair.
Our Cappadocia Cave Suites have been rated in the top 5 or 10 '' most boutique with best service in the world '' by major publications in many counties.
We thank the client for bring up the '' peacock'' and we have placed a complaint about this bird with the local municipality.
