Firstly, as in some of the reviews mentioned earlier, Dilge - deserves a special mention for all the reasons already spoken about. The hotel may be small with just 6 rooms but in that lies the beauty. Friendly homelike atmosphere with super service. The fine way in which some of the stuff is managed can put some large properties at shame. I will strongly recommend to anyone who plans to travel there. Just one advice, spare an evening to sit on the balcony see the lights come up around in the evening while you sip some wine!! It's absolutely awesome!!!

The Terra Cave hotel was fantastic from the moment we booked until the moment we left. They responded quickly to any questions that we had prior to our visit, they booked all of our activities and our airport shuttle, and were always very friendly. The hotel itself was very nice, clean, and uniquely located in a cave. The daily breakfast that is included with the room was delicious! We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Wonderfull cave hotel in Goreme town located a few minutes by foot from the centre. The manager is great! Gave us valueable tips and arrenged all the services we need, like rental, baloon flights, etc. Our room was a cave, very nice ambiance, with candles. We definetly recommend.

We loved our room in this hotel, spacious and with real character. Cleaned beautifully. Exceptional breakfast on the terrace - Terra Cave was really a winner in every way. Great location a minute or two by foot from the heart of town. BEST of all was the exceptional friendliness and service provided by the manager - Dilge. Generous with her advice and suggestions and forthcoming with any other service she could provide at our request - arranging car hires, local lifts, recommendations for companies to use when touring and assistance in making our touring plans. We could not have done better or been happier staying anywhere else.

Room Tip: We had a room right on the street - probably would be smart to have thicker drapes - but the sound w...

We had a great room here, and I suspect that everyone would report the same. We were the only room on the top floor, which allowed us to use the kitchen on occasion. From our window we cold see over rooftops and watch the people in the street. Goreme is a perfect town for a stay of 2 or 3 days, as there is much to see in the area. Dilge was wonderfully helpful,as we always had a question or ten.
I would strongly recommend that you visit the World Heritage Open Air Museum either late in the day-after 4:30 - or very early in the morning, before the tour buses arrive. We spent much of our time seeing a few sights and just chatting with people over chai. The real treasure in Turkey is its people, many of whom welcome you and are eager to share information. On another note, good wine in Urgup and some fabulous antique carpets to see at at Bazaar d'Orient with Murat also in Urgup. On Saturdays there s a huge open-air market in Urgup.
And be sure to see some of the crocheted jewelry with beads, an old Cappadocian tradition-or so they say.

We just loved our stay at Terra Cave Hotel. the location was great and just a short walk to Goreme township. The manager Dilge is just lovely and most helpful and knowledgeable about places to visit. The hotel is very tasteful and the breakfast amazing especially the fresh gozleme.
We would thoroughly recommend staying at this great property - very clean and comfortable.
Cappadocia is an amazing region.

To those who think staying in a cave hotel would not be elegant or comfortable, you should try Terra cave. We stayed in a beautiful roomin a great location and had great service (they even folded our clothes when they tidied up the room!) I just loved this place.
