“Very Friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2012

Arrived very late,eg 2am in the morning to find a welcome note on the door together with the key as reception closes as 11pm. It was a little hard to find but the friendliness of the staff made it well worth it. They were full of interesting info about what to do & where to go to make the most of our short visit. They also arranged the balloon trip before we arrrived and everything ran smoothly.Breakfast was good cold cuts and juice but plenty of it, although the breakfast room only had 3 tables so you had to make sure you were early or late to get a table. We had a ground floor cave room suite which was spacious but right on the street with thin curtains so no chance of a lay in! We were up early for the baloon one day anyway. The only problems i had was that i found the room very cold and the bathroom drains a lille smelly. No evening meals served but plenty were recommended to us by the great staff. Would recommmend.

The hotel was very nice and the staff - especially Dilge - were very friendly and helpful! We stayed in the "Bride Suite," which was comfortable (though a little warm, as it was not one of the "cave rooms," but rather on the second floor). Overall, we had a very good experience at the hotel and would recommend it.

It is a small family hotel, very cosy and friendly staff. Breakfast was enough (gozleme prepared on spot is delicious), some variety, not plenty but on the other hand you do not need so much food as you are planning to hike almost every day you are staying in Kapadokya. The daily tours organized with the support of the hotel (Heritage Travel was the travel agency which actually organized the tours) were great as well as the balloon flight (Butterfly Balloons was the company). We got discounts for taking the tours via the Terra Cave Hotel and for paying in cash both for the tours and fot the stay in the hotel. Overall, Kapadokya is a wonderful experience and we definitely recommend staying in Terra Cave.

Our family recently stayed at The Terra Cave Hotel In Goreme. The experience couldn't have been more outstanding. Everything was great. The recently built/refurbished hotel exhibits outstanding workmanship throughout with respect to wood, stone and tile. This was accompanied by superb furnishings. Both combined provided an experience one would expect in a much more expensive hotel. The architect/owner/builder as well as her manager couldn't have been more helpful and nice with their suggestions. The older couple serving breakfast were also gracious and nice. All and all our two night stay in this small beautifully located hotel couldn't have been better.

The most incredible little hotel tucked away in the hills of Goreme. The hotel is designed by a local architect - I loved the little touches that were added to the room - books on Istanbul and Turkey in the bookshelf, little pot of turkish delight, pot pouri in the cupboards. Staff were also very friendly and hospitable - Dilge was wonderful host always willing to assist in any requests no matter how late or early. Definitely worth the visit to the town to stay at this place!

Obviously, the highlight of staying at Terra Cave was staying at a cave hotel. It was an absolutely stunning experience to sleep in a unique environment. But what made Terra Cave more memorable was the staff. Digle did a fabulous job making me at home, and she provided excellent advice what to do and where to eat in Goreme. The hotel staff produced a wonderful breakfast that was amazing and filled me up for a long day hike in Rose Valley.

Terra cave is a boutique hotel which is designed very well. It is a very cozy and clean place. Staff are very helpful. We had an amazing night by the chimney at the room. And in the morning we had a wonderful breakfast. I highly recommend it to everyone. elif arkan.
