“Nice restaurant, keeping the local feeling”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

Well this is one of the places that keep the local feeling. Not too extreme, but folklore enough to be part of the place. Prices are a bit spicy but it is the cost for having a well kept place alive.

“Turkish Classics”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

Sedef Restaurant was recommended to me and my partner by the receptionist at our cave hotel in Goreme. The girl done good! Beautiful, tasty traditional Turkish food and a great menu choice. Just the ticket before we caught our bus back to Marmaris for a long journey. Was a fab find and we really enjoyed our beef casserole dishes. The waiter brought a little starter of bread and mini meze's which he said was on the house. Our male waiter was really pleasant and even charged my mobile before we hit the road for a 13 hour journey. Superb service and food.

“Best In Goreme”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

Really nice authentic and rustic Turkish food. The male waiter there is always up for a laugh! We had to stay on an extra day to try other things on the menu.

“Great food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

We went to this place because it was busy and we were definitely happy with the choice. My wife had a beef casserole with rice that had just the right amount of heat mixed with flavor. I had a margarita pizza and found it to be delicious! Staff was also quite good. Go!!

“great food with a view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

this is one of those places where we went completely exhausted after a long day; looking for a quiet place to eat peacefully, and sedef is that and so much more. the Turkish clay pot was superb, the bread also. and the view is great if you are sitting outside in a cool clear weather. overall I can say its one of the best places we ate in turkey.
