“Amazing experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2013

We stayed for two wonderful nights at Koza Cave Hotel.
Our suite room was very clean and spacious, we also enjoyed the romantic fireplace and the luxurious bath tub.
The staff were kind and full of hospitality. We went to a neighbourhood restaurant based on their recommendation. Everything was so perfect that we went to the same place next day again.
Since this hotel is located at one of the highest places in Goreme, the view from the room was terrific.
I would highly recommend this family-run heartful place to everyone, and I would choose to stay at this hotel again if I come back.

We loved our two night stay at the Koza Cave Hotel. Mustafa greeted us when we arrived in the morning and offered us breakfast. The room was spacious and decorated perfectly. The hospitality was great and we were able to check out late on our last day. The hotel is located within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and hiking trails. Our only disappointment was that we did not stay in the hotel an extra night to enjoy the luxurious spa bath tub. The exterior of the room had a large terrace with outdoor furniture. The views from the hotel were spectacular.

We arrived exhausted and pretty miserable off a 13 hour night bus and we're immediately charmed by the amazing hospitality and beautiful interior at Koza. Breakfast was all you can eat traditional Turkish, our room smelled amazing and was warm and luxurious cave setting with awesome views and a terrace. We only stayed for one night and yet everyone was so attentive and kind. The management organised a very personalised laid back tour for us last minute and we loved ever minute. This is the place to go :)

My family and I stayed at Koza hotel for 4days and had such an amazing experience.

Rooms/Hotel
We had booked two rooms the standard and suite. Both rooms were clean, spacious with great value for money. Hotel is walking distance to all restaurants, cafes and main attraction.

Views from the terrace are simply breath taking.

Staff
I can't get over how welcoming, helpful and generous the staff are at Koza!! No issues with our request of last minute transfers, tours and the booking of balloon ride.

Also, my sister who had been expecting at the time was struggling to keep food down. She really enjoyed the breakfast earlier that morning and had asked if she could have just a simple bread roll. With no hesitation they bought out a platter far more than she expected.

We are frequent travellers and would highly recommend Koza! If its value for money, great breakfasts, scenery, close to transport, wifi connection and the attractions than this is the place to stay!

Family is very welcoming and friendly. They helped arrange our day trip, activities, and airport shuttles. The location is great and the rooms are amazing. The cave rooms are authentic, which adds to the Cappadocia experience. My husband and I both highly recommend Koza Cave Hotel!

Stayed here for a quick (24 hour!) trip to Cappadocia as part of a longer trip through Turkey. Based largely on a friend's review (she had stayed at this hotel a year prior), I had no qualms about booking this hotel for 1 evening.

The staff was amazing. Most helpful and attentive people I've met at pretty much any hotel - boutique or not. Very personalized attention - they really made us feel at home. (even driving us to/from town when I needed a quick trip to the pharmacy)

The rooms were spectacular. Sleeping on a cave sounds creepy until you actually set foot in the rooms - very well furnished (and we were upgraded to a larger suite at no cost!).

The only possible downside is that there is no door in the bathroom (at least in the room we were in). The bathroom is elevated so it's not like you're doing your business out in the open, but still a small door would have gone a long way.

Thanks for everything and for making our whirlwind trip in Cappadocia worthwhile!

Room Tip: Get an upgraded suite - much more space!

The Koza Cave had interesting and attractively furnished rooms which used the caves in the fairy chimneys, a nice bathroom, with numerous balconies offering view across the amazing landscape and even back to town (a must at dawn to see the balloons). Breakfast is served a little eccentrically but is fine and the staff are helpful with advice on places and tours and even lifts in the rain.
