“Do NOT miss this”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

Get over your fear of heights. It's the most unforgettable experience that cannot be missed in Capadocia. Our guide, Cansu Ozer, chose Voyager Balloons for us and arranged for them to pick us up at our hotel. The company served a great breakfast and transportation to the lift off site. Seeing the sun rise from the balloon was amazing and all of our pictures are too. Our pilot, Hazim Yaman , could have probably set the balloon down on the top of a pin. This is a trip that should be on everybodies bucket list.

“Best high in Cappadocia!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

I didn't specifically pick Voyager Balloons. All it took was a mere request at the hotel front desk. A good choice. Although I have no references to the services provided by other balloon companies in Cappadocia, the experience with Voyager was superb.

Their hotel pickup was right on the button. The crew were really friendly, a little shy due to their limited command of English.

While they sort the equipment, guests first congregate at their office premises for a light breakfast and that much-needed coffee or tea.

While you wait, entertain yourself – and be entertained in return – by the friendly neighborhood dogs. They'll turn on their charm and cast puppy dog eyes for a piece of chocolate wafer.

A short drive away and you're at the take-off point. Get cameras ready cos the inflation process is pretty stunning as you watch the flames breathe life into those massive orbs.

Up in the air, just soak in the stunning vistas of the caves, vineyards and communities 1,000 metres below. Enjoy the ride. And take loads of photos!

The hour passed in what seemed like mere minutes. We were gutted the ride came to an end. While the crew load up the truck, you'll be treated to a glass of bubbly at the certificate presentation ceremony. Yup, it's a pretty official thing. Cos the pilot pops the champers and presents each cert individually by name before the group photo opp.

Oh, don't forget to leave a tip. These guys work pretty hard to ensure the ultimate experience.

Just a heads up: there are no seats in the basket. you'll be standing in a small space with little elbow room. There's a "landing position" to assume – crouch in the basket while you hang on to the rope straps. Nothing to stress about. The whole thing only lasts less than 30 seconds. But those with bad knees may wanna check. (I have a post-surgery knee that's not in great shape but managed okay. so don't miss out just because)

“Totally Amazing View”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

I was welcome in Cappadocia by Andromeda Tour Service in Cappadocia and they offered me an excellent service. very sharp on time to pick up at my hotel and then i had a nice breakfast with my new friends in a large grioup, i took many pictures before we flew up, and wWOW, it was amazing to leave the groung and can travel over the beautiful historic city of Cappadocia. many pictures and many sighs! You cannot miss it at all. i will travel there and i will look for the same company to hire this breathtaking trip again one day. I recommed to go to Andormeda Tour Service in Goreme and hite it as soon as you arrive. Look for Zuhal , she is the young lady who will also take you to visit the anciente ruins and archeological sites and green parks of the amazing Cappadocia. Sergio from São Paulo - Brasil

“an unforgettable experience of a lifetime!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

The hot-air balloon was my main reason to visit Turkey and by the time I got to Nevsehir, I just could not wait. Even though that this hot-air balloon ride was excluded from my tour package, but it was worth the trip.

We took off early morning and it was amazing looking at sunrise, just perfect. Our pilot was also very funny and experienced. He explained the outlook of the valley and landed our balloon safely. It seems like 1 hour was just not enough. I would definitely go back to Cappadocia and experience hot-air balloon ride once again!

“A memorable experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

The itinerary of our trip to Turkey did not include a balloon ride, so we weren't sure if we would have this opportunity. When our guide asked if anyone would like to book this, we decided we would regret it if we didn't go (even if it is a little pricey). It is so-ooo worth it !! We were picked up at our hotel at 4:45 am which means you see the sunrise from the balloon. Seeing the strange formations from the air gives a different perspective than from the ground. Our pilot, Cem, was very professional. The ride was so smooth you barely felt you were moving. This was truly a memorable experience.
