“Delicious coffee and iced-apple tea!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

We had the pleasure of visiting Cafe Safak twice for lunch during our stay in Goreme. It's a beautiful little place that is family-owned and run. They have both delicious food and coffee. I really enjoyed their iced-apple tea during the hot afternoon when browsing around the downtown area. If in Goreme, you must visit this wonderful gem!

“You won't regret a visit - and coffee of course!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2014

A little 'timeout' spot that serves the best coffee. The team at Cafe Safak are instantly genuinely friendly, making you feel you are more than a customer. We stopped by twice for a coffee break after intense 'tourist time' and enjoyed relaxing with a great affigatto at the outside tables. Love that they promote a NZ connection. A must stop eatery when you visit Goreme.

“Great food, great coffee, and great atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014

There are a lot of cafes in Goreme, but Cafe Safak is the best. Delicious food, the best coffee we've had in Turkey, friendly and generous staff, fast wifi, and a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014 via mobile

Ali and his family are doing a great job! Very friendly people...Tasty coffee with mastergul barista-art in a country where u mostly only find Nescafe as an alternative to Turkish Coffee...and good homemade turkish food from Ali's mother! Definitely drop in!
