Skip the expensive places (Orient Restaurant, etc.) and come to the Cafe Safak (in Turkish: "Şafak Cafe" -- pronounced "Sha-fak") for a great Adana Kabap or other classic Turkish cuisine! They serve a simple selection of classic Turkish dishes in an unpretentious but very fun setting. Also, they serve alcohol, including some great local red wines, at great prices. The scene is mostly young world traveler types and locals, and makes for very fun people watching. This is the best food, and the best deal, in town.
