We were sent here by the Anzac Hotel who had messed up our booking. We had a good sized suite with an enclosed balcony overlooking the sea. The bathroom looked a bit dated and tired but clean. We didn't get any noise from the bar that others seemed to have done. The breakfast was good. All in all a pleasant stay and good value. I would not have chosen the hotel based on the reports here but would stay there again.

Thank goodness we only booked one night!
The rooms are out of the dark ages, tired, worn, dull and disappointing.
Great if you're on a budget but one night was enough.
We had a room on 6th floor right outside the lift which was noisy.
The noise was worse from
The bar right above our room and went on until after 2am.

If you want to have breakfast while looking at the big blue sea, then this is the place! The room was clean, we were here for one night. We parked in a multi-level parking, at about 200m from the hotel - you need skills to park and to exit the parking lot :)
All in all, very good.

Room tip: as high as it can be - the restaurant is at the 7th floor, we stayed at the 6th floor

I wanted to stay in the ANZAC hotel for two nights but because of a misunderstanding I only booked for one night and they didn't have a room for me for the second one.
The staff of the Anzac send me to the Canak hotel and I'm very happy they did so.

My room was very big and clean, breakfast was all I could wish for.
Staff was discrete, but if you asked for something they really did all they could to help.

Carpets in the hallway of the floor where I was staying had seen better days, but besides that I was happy to stay here!

Hard to understand why this hotel achieved 91% on booking.com as it really is average.

Rooms advertised as 25m/2 but no way that big. But despite their old fashioned decor they are well equipped and the housekeeping dept does good job of keeping them and their small ensuite bathrooms clean.

Most dissapointing was breakfast, as no effort there whatsoever despite the area famous for its cheese, and tomatoes. No eggs to order, only hard boiled in the bain Marie. Also the waiter was too lazy to set the tables on the hotel's besy feature of a terrace one morning.

There is written evidence to management being interested in feedback and quality of service everywhere but they run the hotel like a hostil. After a "that's all" from the reception on check out (no thank you or good bye) i can say that trip advisor's ranking more accurate than the booking.com !!
