Let's start with the positive. Great location on a small sidestreet near the Clock Tower and the seaside promenade; that is their strong point. The fellow at the front desk was pleasant enough. Breakfeast was basic with hard boiled eggs, 2 mornings out of 3, tasteless white cheese slices, olives, slices of cucumber and tomatoes, commercial jams, instant coffee, but excellent bread. There is absolutely no effort for decoration in the rooms, lobby or breakfeast space with a large tv screen blasting low end tv programs. No sign for 3 days of any made service; we ran out of toilet paper and had to fetch some from an unoccupied room. Hot water in the shower only. The view from our window was not an inviting site with the dump of the construction site next door and a garden without maintenance; noise from the construction site was also annoying during daytime.
