“Well yes...5 star hotel but how can you guarantee a good night's sleep.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

We arrived to a lovely entry and comfortable room that was still being cleaned! when we arrived at 4.30 pm. Had to change in a traveling companions room while partner guarded our gear outside our 'room'. Unfortunately other travelers seem not to be aware that midnight parties are not de riguer in hotels where people need to sleep. After asking for young children to please refrain from running up and down corridors, we had a situation where the room across from us had what sounded like 5-6 people partying, blowing up maybe an air matress, completely oblivious that others had a 5 star price for a comfortable sleep. We were not the only ones in our party that had this experience. Perhaps simple signage reminding guests that after 10 or 11 pm was a no noise rule...,partying in the extensive public areas of the hotel and talk quietly when coming to room. We sat with our mates in the hotel bar for awhile but did not appreciate the 'manager ' disciplining his staff in front of me for not having the bar ready. The staff was humiliated and as a guest I felt ashamed to have to sites this.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

After days of traveling all around Turkey for days, arriving at Almira Hotel in Bursa was incredibly rewarding. The Grand Mosque visit was capped by a beautiful stay in this hotel. Everything was impeccable in the room: the cotton sheets and quilted cover, bathrobes, huge comfortable king sized bed and the adjacent room of two twin beds with its own wardrobe cabinetry.

We thoroughly loved the thermal pool at the basement. The pool was warm not hot so we stayed longer. The pool's painted walls was a site to enjoy.

The evening buffet was not only an eye candy but the quality and the assortment was excellent. Breakfast was even better. There's an egg station which allowed me to indulge in a healthy omelet. The carrot juice and yogurt with honey in hive was such a novelty and a treat! We were sorry to leave the hotel.

Almira Hotel joins the ranks of historic and natural sites in making our experience in Turkey memorable.

We stayed here last week. The hotel is very nice, with clean comfortable rooms (nice hard beds) and the breakfast/dinner buffet selection varied and tasty. Wished we could have stayed more than just one night there.

I paid only 90euro for 5 stars hotel which is excellent value for money. Excellent location just beside the main road, lots of parking spaces, near the big shopping mall and just beside the nice restaurant. Look nowhere else if u come to Bursa. Better pay a little bit extra and u get much more in return.definitely 10/10

The Almira is a first class hotel about a mile northwest of Bursa’s historic Great Mosque and covered markets.

The hotel’s public rooms are elegant, the guest rooms are well-appointed and very comfortable, dining buffets are extensive and beautifully presented, the staff is friendly, and there is a pleasant park next door for exercise.

There is a thermal spa in the basement. The thermal pool has low ceilings and was lukewarm, but the other spa facilities are attractive. The spa staff is polite and offered our tour group a hamman style scrub at no extra charge.

When in Bursa, it is worth spending a half day (at least) exploring the historic covered markets and visiting the adjacent Great Mosque. Courtyards there now hold pleasant tea gardens, and surrounding shops offer a great selection of fashions and crafts.

The Almira Hotel and the nearby sights make Bursa a very enjoyable stop on any tour of Turkey.

This was simply the best hotel we stayed in on our tour of Turkey - it was very clean - restaurant staff wore plastic gloves when handling food at all times - nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were polite, courteous and caring at all times. I only wish we could have stayed longer - a superb venue for any form of celebration. Definitely 5 stars plus.

Room Tip: All rooms are superb

Perfect!
My family & I stayed at the Almira hotel for 4 nights while skiing in the near by Uludag slopes. We booked two connecting rooms and we couldn't be happier!
The hotel is sparkling clean, the staff is very helpful and you can feel their willingness to support even before you ask them, the breakfast buffet is really good and the location is ideal, our rooms overlooked a park, the hotel is close to the main streets of Bursa and to the roads leading to near by attarctions. And I loved the very competent complimentary valet parking service.
We were very busy during our visit (our first to Bursa) that I had no time to visit the renowned "Blue Ocean" spa at the hotel. Maybe next time :-)
We would certainly come back to this hotel, whenever we're in Bursa, we have no reason to look elsewhere.
