What a surprise when we arrived at the hotel! It is sitting on the edge of the Aegean sea, with all rooms having unobstructed water views.

The hotel has everything that you could ask for, including indoor pool, outdoor pool, ample sea deck, Turkish bath, spa, restaurant with unbelievable views, free wifi (and fast) and a breakfast and dinner buffets with great variety. The hotel is walking distance to the main bars area, which is very convenient.

All the rooms have jacuzzis and terraces. The only drawback were the beds, which were not that comfortable.

Although I rate the hotel 5 stars, it looks a little tired (but maybe because we went on winter time).

The service was impeccable.

Room Tip: All rooms face the water

A very nice and comfortable hotel. What i liked the best about this hotel was the view from the balcony..it also has an infinity pool ..i will suggest to visit during summers to njoy the most of this hotel. They also offer hammam bath..it was free for us hence was'nt so great. Breakafast n dinner buffet has alot of variety. The location is also good to stroll around the city.

We bought a package that included this hotel. It was a 4 night fantastic stay. unfortunately we went at a time when they were under renovation and it was the cold season, march 2013. But it was a great place to eat and spend the night after a long day of sight seeing. The food was lavish. I've never seen anything like it here in North America for the same price. The scene from our bedroom windows was breathtaking (pure sea). And the rooms were very clean. We stayed on the main floor in a suite on the corner. I'd love to go again in the warmer months. Our sightseeing from here was to the Archeological ruins of Ephosus and Priena. In hotel we managed to go to the indoor pool once.

Room Tip: make sure to get a room facing water

Starting with the Tour Guide Aiyden. What a lot to learn about the cultures, history and the past from a very thorough guide. Loved everything about Turkey on our 12 night 10 days bus tour. Met lots of lovely people mostly from the U.S. and some have shared pictures.

Will go back but probably in the warmer climate as it was cold but not as cold as what we left behind.

I recommend this tour to cover a lot of ground and see the country and its people.

I read a lot of negative statements from people about Key Tours and Neon but I really don't know what they were talking about. Of course, we had a best guide on the trip.

Room Tip: Facing the ocean. Fantastic view.

Amazing hotel - huge room, lovely bathroom and a beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony. The pool was very inviting and there were always sunloungers available on the decking area which is right by the sea. The restaurant food was also very nice, particularly the breakfast buffet which had lots of options. Only a short walk from the centre of Kusadasi. The only possible negative is that the spa was quite expensive, which meant that we didn't use it. We stayed at Charisma as a couple in September 2011 but only just got around to writing a review! Fab hotel.

Room Tip: Request an ocean view room as high up as possible.

AMAZING!! everything about this hotel was amazing. When you step into the lobby you can see the ocean almost underneath you - it felt like we were on a cruise! Our room had a balcony and you could see the formations under the clear Agean. The 'infinity' pool is right along side the ocean, so we went in both, back and forth. Like many 'beaches' in Turkey (and a lot of europe) there is no sand or waves. Here they just had ladders to drop you in the water -but it as amazing nonethe less. There were chaise lounges and umbrellas right there to lounge. There was a tiny and claustrophobic indoor pool, but of course, no one was using that - why would you?!
We ate breakfast and dinner outside overlooking the water. Amazing! The food was very good, especially breakfast. I was not bowled over by Turkish food in general, a little bland and sauceless for me, but this was as good as any.
The location of the Charisma is great. A few minutes walk and you are on the 'main drag' of stores and boardwalk that skirts the beach. It is a nice crescent with amazing sunset views - lots of people walking arm and arm enjoying the esplanade, playgrounds, shoppes and restaurants.
so glad we were here for 2 days!
The room was immaculate! There is a window from the bathroom/tub to the bedroom i suppose so one can see the ocean while showering or doing one's 'business' - interesting (but there is a Venecian blind to close it if needed). We slept with the sliding door wide open (NOTE: the air conditioner only works when the door is closed - it has a trigger, energy savings!) to listen to the ocean all night.
The staff was friendly and helpful, our waiter was very talkative and charming (and handsome).
I wish i couldve stayed here much longer, but we were with a tour and the rest of turkey awaited us. Though, this was, for all the reasons mentioned above (location, pools, the sea, eating al freso), our balcony, etc... by far the most memorable!

Room Tip: ocean view!
