“Very good in the area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

A very good location by the seaside, very good staff, good food, large rooms, clean bathroom and rooms. Very good price. It takes only ten minutes to reach anywhere from here on foot. Take your coffee or meal and enjoy yourselves by the sea just in front of the hotel.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a sea view.

Did a trip to Turkey recently and this hotel was booked by my agent in Istanbul. The location is great, the staff at my arrival were friendly and helpful. I went in winter time and guess that is why the pool was emptied out and the roof terrace not really open for enjoyment (it was quite cold and I was the only crazy one walking around in flipflops). Room and bathroom was basic. The bathroom mirror was a little bit dirty, but the rest was all clean, some dust on the paintings in the room. Overall it was clean with fresh linen etc. Had a sea facing room on the 4th floor with spectacular views! Decided to have dinner at the hotel which was good and Hüseyin and Kemàl were great hosts. If you are looking for an easy, affordable hotel, this is it!

Room Tip: Choose a sea facing room as the views are worth it!!

The room was plain, with simple furnishings -- and a private balcony overlooking the sea! Worth it just for the view. The room was very clean and had plenty of electric outlets for recharging gadgets. Service was good, breakfast was good, and the internet worked fine. Across the street is the seawall with its promenade, and there are plenty of cafes and beach bars in the area. It's not a romantic hotel by any means, but a good place to crash after a day of sightseeing.

The manager and cleaning ladies were the ONLY pleasant/friendly staff members. The others looked miserable! Got the impression that everyone at the Sozer is working under trying conditions. The owner NEVER smiles, acknowledges your presence or says hello. His guests are invisible to him. This man is certainly not helping his hotel attract guests. A shame as the hotel is in a lovely, handy position. Prices are reasonable, meals are tasty/healthy.

Room Tip: A room facing the ocean/promenande is my suggestion. A glorius view! Also stay on the top floors as...

One of the worst hotels that me and my husband ever stayed , ignore the fake good reviews , beware...The only good thing I can mention is the location, smelled disgusting, toilet did not flush, I had to use the shower head to clean the toilet, disgusting, disgusting, after reviewing some good comments (which I'm %100 sure created by the hotel and the owner's relatives) we've decided to stay here and from the moment we checked-in I could not wait to check out which was the next day, do not GAMBLE to see if you can have a better experience...

This hotel is an older hotel and you can see it must have been a grand beauty in its day. Now it is a little bit tired but everything is in working order and very clean. The front office manager Yasin was unfailingly helpful and worked hard to meet our every request. The alacarte restaurant was wonderful and the location is brilliant - right across the street from a swimming beach and just 2 minutes walk to lots of restaurants and the main shopping strip.

The price was very reasonable and we would not hesitate to stay here again - there may be some newer hotels but really this hotel offers very high value for money.

I must admit the room is clean and tidy but very basic. Breakfast is not fantastic. The reception staff always looks she is not having a good day... Hmmmm. Where is the hospitality service????

In return, you are in the heart of Kusadasi, which is excellent. If staying at this hotel, request a room in front of the hotel as it faces the water.
