“What a gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2010

From the minute you arrive Ben and his team take care of you, this is a three star hotel with 5 star service. The gardens are beautiful and the food is very good (stay away from the soup starters). They have fresh bread daily and my fussy 4 year old ate every meal.

They have free internet at reception, the hotel and pools are very clean and the room safes are free, which is a nice touch.

This hotel is not in the middle of town but only a 10 minute ride away,

The Opus is amazingly good value for money. Would recommend this hotel and would like to thank Ben and his team and Hande for the amazing service.

We stayed at the Opus fopr two weeks and could not believe how welcome we were made. everybody from the cleaner to the owner talks to you and makes you feel as if you had come home. Our room was perfectly placed overlooking the pool and we didn't have any problem with noise at nights. The food is great for the price that is charged. It is wise to go half-board. If you can't eat whatever is being offered that evening just ask for something else- it isn't an issue. All we can suggest is that you are polite to the staff- manners cost nothing. Tufan, Serkan (older and younger) and Mehmet are all great guys who work some very long hours but are always smiling and willing to have a laugh and a joke with you.
We found everybody to be extremely trustworthy and the area around the hotel very peaceful and SAFE. We have felt far more edgy walking around at home than we ever did over there.
A trip to Samos is a must- it only takes 90 minutes to get there by ferry for around £25. It's very reasonable there too for food and drink. Ephesus is worth a visit too.

We would recommend Opus to everyone for value, hospitality and comfort. If we go to Kusadasi again we will certainly try to book directly with the hotel for transfers and accomodation.

Having read one or two 'dubious' reviews we were a little concerned. Absolutely no need as the hotel is everything that we wanted.
Opus is a quite oasis within a very busy city and yet only a few minutes away (and only a coupe of Lira) by dolmus to the centre, a great combination. All of the staff, cleaners, reception, chefs, bar staff, are very friendly, rooms and all public areas very clean, food delicious, pool just right, no shortage of comfortable loungers and amazing gardens to wander round.
Would we go back? Definately!
Great value (we were half board) and great service.
If you want a hotel with sea views, roof top swimming pool, and slap bang in the centre, then Opus is not for you.
If you want a more relaxed hotel within a quiet residential area, great facilities, and minutes away from the centre- go for Opus!

This place is fantastic from the moment the hotel picked us up at the airport to check out we were made very welcome.
We paid just £150 for 10 nights to me this is amazing value you cant get a dump of a B and B in Blackpool for this price.
The rooms were serviced every two days including sheets and towels. Kitchen is more fine for cooking basic meals too. pool area was really clean and breakfast good, but remember people breakfast is different here than at home YOU ARE IN TURKEY !!!!
Now for the location FANTASTIC. only 10 mins walk from centre of Kusadasi and 5 mins from the bus station with regular services to all the beaches and attractions for less than £1 each way. the people that think its unsafe walking at night must be mad we walked late at niight a few times and felt safer than walking at home. The other great thing about the location is how quiet it is at night really peaceful with NO road noise or druken idiots around. All in all for the price this is true CLEAN turkist hospitality at its best in GREAT location. Please feel free to ask me any questions about the place.

cant wait to go back next year first time to Kusadasi and beats side hands down and was made even better by a fantastic stay at OPUS

We found the Opus through trip advisor in 2008. We were at that time more then pleased by our stay and upon return this year found that nothing had changed. We still love it. We are Americans living in Izmir and the Opus really has served as an oasis away from the city for us. We have sent visiting family members there and most recently visited with 4 other families. Everyone has loved it and has said they would love to return. Though it is not right on the beach it isn't difficult to get to one and you will not find anything like it on the beach, and certainly not for this price. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is very helpful, even accomadating our son's food allergies for all meals! We can't think of a negative thing to say.

Great staff, terrific service, pools great, foods ok, someone on here says the drinks are expensive- there not -unless you get the spirits &even then the measures are HUGE !! Yes its a while from the beach but for 5lira you can get a cab, sunlonger & drink at a beach-bar along with a taxi back. Rooms are fine with A.C. Would go back anytime, i went with the missus & 3 kids (17,15 & 3) They all loved it and they arent easy to please !!

ok so its a two star budget hotel so i didnt expect the ritz and after reading some of the conflicting comments on here i was a bit weary of what it was going to be like,
but i`m happy to say it was a wonderful experience good size clean rooms, great pool and garden areas, well stocked bar, great food, internet access, free pool table, table tennis, and table football, the staff were very attentive(but not too much) and the family who own the hotel were amazing and could be aproached night or day for advice or just a drink and a chat,
some people wrote on here that its in the middle of nowhere and scary to walk about at night, what twaddle all the locals are very friendly and always give a wave or "merhaba" and myself or my partner never once felt scared or threatened whilst out walking off our dinner. we timed our journey into the centrum (town centre). walking= 20 mins, taxi outside entrance=6 mins, and with the walk to the dolmus and journey=9 mins, not bad after what i read on here!!
i have come to the conclusion that some of the posts on here that are a bit bad have been added by rival hotel owners who are a bit miffed at the good reviews that opus have been getting to ttry and bring the scores down, no matter opus just keep doing what you do and be sure that next time i`m in the area i will be staying again.
