“Great vacation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2014

Our family is at the end of our summer vacation here and we can say this vacation was one of the greatest. We are for the first time in Turkey and The Panorama hill hotel especially. Our room was large, clean and with air con. We didn' t have sea view but that doesn' t really matter. Most of the time we spend around the pool or on walkings. The food was good. The pool was large and clean and there were a lot of sun beds and parasols. The entertainment team - Alpy, Seco and Sisi are very polite, funny and communicative. They organized different games every day and we were not bored. There was and a fire show that was great - it must be seen. A big thanks to all of them. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. We didn't have any problems during our vacation.

Not long back from a ten day holiday here. A previous reviewer suggested people try for Room 528 - this was our room! I suspect it is one of the best in the hotel - large, clean, with pool and sea view, and two air conditioning units. Only complaint about the room was that the bed mattress was rock hard! The food was OK as long as you're a fan of chicken - it seemed to appear on the menu every day in various disguises. The pool was large and clean and there was plenty of sun beds and parasols. The surrounding area of the pool was cleaned every day but was done a tad late - people were sunbathing as the cleaners tried to clean around them! The entertainment team worked hard during the day and tried to include everyone in some form of activity. Only complaint here is the incessant disco music which apparently has to be played at full volume all day. Evening entertainment was poor - bingo in three different languages, kids disco, and some silly games. They need to import some local entertainers at least a few times per week. The hotel staff were generally helpful and friendly. We struggled sometimes to get a wi-fi signal in the room or at the pool and usually had to go to Reception for a useable signal. Local bus service was first class. The hotel needs to review it's health and safety policy which seems to be non existent currently. During our stay a guest cut his foot badly and NONE of the hotel staff on duty were first aid trained and could not provide as much as a plaster. We had to supply from our travel first aid kit. A good hotel though, and we had a great holiday.

Room Tip: Try for a family room, with a sea view

If you are thinking of staying at this hotel please read this review and hopefully it will provide you with an honest over view of panorama hill. We, like many others, looked at several holidays and hotels and thought that trip advisor would provide us with a clear indication of what this hotel is like.........not exactly! It turns out that the staff at the hotel were paying guests 15tl to give them a good review which is why these reviews are not a true reflection of the panorama hill. Let's be absolutely clear that this is not a 4 star hotel, more like a 2 star, the hotel itself is quite run down, although the pool and cleaning staff do work hard to try and make it look nice there is only so much that they can do. On arrival we were put in room 612 which was very small and over looked the main road, after three nights of no sleep due to the air con not working we were all feeling exhausted, including our 3 year old daughter who suffered with the heat, after several complaints we were eventually moved to another room 420 which was much nicer and the air con worked which made the rest of our stay much more enjoyable. The beds were so hard it was like sleeping on a slab of marble.
The hotel seem to be particularly poor when it came to the health and safety of guests, during our week stay at the panorama hill we saw 4 people slip on the wet marble floors and seriously hurt themselves, 3 out of the 4 guests required medical attention and the staff were in no hurry to put up signs to warn people, in fact I often found signs and put them up myself as I could not bare to see it happen again and again.
The food was the worst part of our holiday, we are a family that eat almost anything and are not fussy eaters however the selection was very limited, always served cold and it was very repetitive and covered in flies. We have been on several all inclusive holidays and this was the worst by far. The all inclusive bar closes at 11pm so if you want a drink after this time you have to buy one! We ate out on a couple of occasions as the food was so awful.
The entertainment was the strangest I have ever seen, three entertainers did the best they could on a non existent budget but it was dreadful - it consisted of bingo that took about an hour and a half due to reading out every number in 5 different languages, alpi a guy entertainer dressing up as a women at any opportunity and gyrating all over guests, not appropriate for children, pumping dance music that had no end of swear words in it which was played throughout the day when children were around the pool. There was a fire show which was the most entertaining event of the week however momo who is very nice is clearly self taught and again health and safety doesn't seem to concern them. Our daughter really enjoyed the mini disco and momo was very good at entertaining the children and had a very nice nature with them.
We didn't pay much for this holiday so you could say you pay for what you get however I would rather know an honest opinion about the hotel and if I would have known what I do now I would have paid more to go somewhere else. Luckily we met some lovely people on holiday and it made our time at the panorama hill much more enjoyable, there is a good mix of all nationalities but beware if you have a blond child with fair skin and blue eyes they will all want to pick them up and kiss them which takes some getting use to.
Local bus was great, definitely recommend using it and going down to the town for shopping, remember you can barter anywhere including the hotel and spa.
My advice would be if you want an enjoyable holiday then look else where, or if you do book the panorama don't expect to much and go with an open mind!

Got back yesterday from a 12 day stay and found the service for the rooms was shocking as I had a very very hard bed that gave me a bad back and after complaining and told they would sort it in the morning. Nothing ever happened. But the bar staff was great and the entertainers defiantly Momo made the stay great with lots of fun and laughs. Also found the rooms to be cleaned every day to a high standard and if I was to ask the cleaner for anything like towels she was happy to help. I will defiantly recommend this hotel just make sure your bed is soft or kick off the 1st night.

Visited the panorama hill hotel in June was there for two weeks from 7th to 21 st. Pros are it's clean loved our room it was huge balcony was small but room made up for it. Staff really friendly even though they speak very little English. Only person we had trouble with was a bar man called milli who was rude we and others also complained to management about him. Great location only five min bus ride in to town. Cons were wish people had been more honest with their reviews as food was terrible, salad bar was great but there's only so much salad u can eat choice and selection for mains was very poor. Speaking to most of English they thought same.animation team alpi was great. Our little girl loved momo he was fantastic always laughing and joking making sure we were all ok, lovelie lovelie guy god bless u momo. As for sisi we found her cold and only engaged us in conversation when she wanted us to buy something. Bit of a poor do when our party of five were pushed in to buying bingo tickets and when my 70 year old dad won his prize was a discount on a facial, worst was it was a voucher that sisi had written out could have given him a prize that he could have used. We heard of a lot of guests that this was a regular occurrence. Did really enjoy my stay but like I said could have been so much better.

My wife and I have just got back today from a ten day holiday first I am not to be a moaner but you can see from my other reviews ,1 I had read all the reviews on this hotel and it sounded like it was great 2 beach location a mile walk 3 we were told when I booked it that I would have to have a twin room which we didn't mind as the reviews were so good 4 when we got there we had a double room right by reception with the smallest balcony there was and that was the start 5 we were told we could move 5 days later so we said ok we would put up with that 6 there was not a lot of entertainment on at night only the kids disco at 9.30 till 10.00 then animation would try and do stuff but if you go you can ask 90% of English what they think and they would say crap take me home

Room Tip: Just don't go but if you must ask for 528

We arrived at 2am and was greeted by Yusef with a warm welcome, taken to our room with no fuss. The rooms are spacious and very clean, housekeeping a credit to this hotel. We were all inclusive and the food is good and fresh, a bit repetitive if your staying 2 weeks but that's to be expected. Pool excellent again staffers always cleaning round it. We went out a few nights to the town, jumping on the local dolmus which costs 50p each and stops outside the hotel (number 6 or 7) and taxi home costs £5 in the early morning as bars stay open until you leave. The views from this hotel are amazing, ask for a Seaview though as the other side of the hotel looks onto a busy road. For the money we paid for this hotel it was fantastic. Well done to all the staff.
