“Good family holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

Really enjoyed it. Family of 4 . Two adults 2 children ages 11 and 6. Very good location with plenty of facilities for everyone to enjoy. Plenty of room to walk around. we went once on a boat trip and wished we stayed at the resort instead. it's one of these places that you can stay all day. I was concerned that the music would be playing loud and keep us awake. I did not hear a thing after 22:00. We were at the upper lodge, maybe it's different near to the beach? Again the staff were very good, worked very hard. All of them. The lodges themselves are outdated and a bit tacky. But we only went there to sleep so no complaint there. We were never hungry. Plenty of food choices (not much meat if you used to high cholesterol meals every day you might struggle) but lots of seafood and vegetarian meals. Fish and chips dish in particular is good. The only thing was at times perhaps a bit too much is the music during the day time. It's on at every place where drinks and food was served during the day. So if you go for a relaxing time by the beach cafe and the pop music is on, at times it felt wrong and not relaxing. But then again it was not too loud so I could just coop. Would go again and recommend it to family, friends or couples. One more thing, it does get crowded from 1st June when the continent breaks up. We went end of May to 1st week of June. End of May was the best. I would book a-la-crate meals for the busy times next time.

Room Tip: All depends on your personal preferences. Some are far away from noisy places some are close. Thomas...

“Definitely not a 5* hotel. Small rooms and uncomfortable beds.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

We stayed one night in this hotel during our recent tour of Turkey. I was very excited when we walked into the nice lobby and thought that the rooms would probably be just as nice. Alas, this was not the case. Our tour guide had warned us that there were steps in some of the rooms. I would give the lobby and the grounds a 4* rating. The carpets in the hallway was badly stained and looked dirty. The room was small and there was hardly any room to walk around after we opened our suitcases. The room had a tile floor which was good. Hotel carpets are usually dirty. We had to walk down three steps shortly after entering the room. I think this was not a safe situation. There was a motion activated light in the entry way which was defective in our room. We had to turn all the lights off which made the step even more hazardous. There was a small flat screen TV in the room.

The bed was very hard and the pillow felt like a brick. There were a few spots and mold and mildew on the grout lines around the bath tub. We were not happy with our room. The breakfast buffet which was included had a huge selection if cold items, but the hot food was limited and unimpressive. On the whole the breakfast buffet was good.

Room Tip: In this location all the rooms are quiet.

“Very Enjoyable Experience!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012 via mobile

First of all, because we were here in the off season i cant say too much about the pool or oudoor activities. Im also assuming that they dont have the crowds they may have during the summer. But we thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was huge, clean and well appointed with a comfortable bed and very nice updated bath. Dining experience was excellent with a great variety of foods at the buffet and attentive service throughout. Plus there was free WiFi which was a treat. The only drawback was the sheer size of the place which took a little planning not to make unnecessary trips back & forth to the room. The grounds were gorgeous. I would recommend this hotel.

“Would not advise off season stay”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

Perhaps this is not fair, but attending a meeting at the resort, we did see regular tourists. While the location is quite beautiful, this hotel is really mothballing itself. The water park area is closed and there are signs warning the area is unattended. The sea pool area is also unattended. For the sand beach area-there were only 4 chairs to sit on. The outdoor pool is not heated and there is no bar service-the quite cute ship bar is wrapped in plastic....There is an indoor pool which is still opened but the changing facilities are minimal. The free internet was down, a lot. We didn't have time to use the spa-which is heavily advertised. We also didn't have time to go into the town which is down a very windy road and not walkable distance. We could see cruise ships moored from the resort. An all-inclusive for the mtg, the food was initially interesting and then really, really repetititve and we were only there 3 days.... I think that the baked fish was refried the next day. Same hot dishes, same salads. The breakfast included open bread baskets where the sparrows were eating. And the canned 'elevator' music[muzak] was really, really annoying.... Beds are thin, can feel the springs. The rooms are a good size. Bathrooms are very nice and water pressure is good. The rooms are very clean-maids are very friendly and very fast.
I can imagine this place is very packed in season-one should note the very high-high season prices.

“never again”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

went to this hotel June 2011 the only thing good i have to say was the weather was fantastic. No that's not fair the room in the main hotel was good, view was great it was clean and the maids came every other day.Ffirst problem in the room was all of my partners clothes got damaged what we think was by the air conditioning unit leaking into the wardrobe complained to hotel management it got fixed and they washed the clothes. Food was OK that if you could beat the Russians to it always had to cue then had to fined a clean table, the beer came in small plastics cups and the spirits were like paint stripper. The indoor pool was great never full and lovley to use unlike the outdoor pool could never find a sunbed and it was alwasy busy and very loud due the entertinment team blowing a god dam whistle all day long, so we would walk to the beach which had a bar close by it was handy one of its good points. The one last thing to moan about was at night when we went to our room we had to keep the door shut until at least 03.00am due to the hotel disco down near the beach it went on til at least 02.30 so when it was so hot we had to cook in our room until we could open the door. I really could go on and on but I am bored now of writing this review so I think you may get the jest but one last thing done AllI Inclusive at other hotels and they were great this was dire

Room Tip: main hote lup near the top floor
